If a Dom/me is talking to a sub or slave who is under consideration by another and during the time Y/you are speaking to them the Dom/me just up and stops talking to them with out giving a reason to the sub or slave how long do Y/you think Y/you think another Dom/me should wait to work on owning them?

Zero time because I'm not interested in someone who likes the "under consideration" problem and has bad enough judgement to be under consideration with someone who just leaves them.

But they were never owned, only "under consideration" so they were always free to talk to and court with others.  And they still are.  I'd ask THEM what they feel is the right time.  Express interest and back off.  After all- you don't want to be the rebound (unless you do, and then go for it).

I had told her to pick an amount of time that made sense to her and she asked Me to chose the amount of time. I also told her that if the other contacts her after the time is up from her to tell the other that it is too late, end game they lost.

Wow she denied you the first polite request you gave her AND you can't trust her to be true to you now.  Hope you like micromanagement.

i rather adhere to the belief that someone is either available or not available....so the only way i could answer this is to say do what you feel is right....

Let Me clearlify how I had told her what I was thinking. I was just giving her advise when I said that she needed to pick a time that she would think would be proper. In return to that she asked Me to do it since I had given her a lot to think about. So I was not telling her to do something as a Domme I was saying something as a friend. Does that make sense? Or am I wrong to think that starting a M/s relationship as friends is wrong? In asking that I am stating that in a rude way that is a serious question to Me.

The fact is that you answered her a question that only she can answer.  If you're trying to be her friend- friends can't tell eachother when they will be ready to get together with someone else, specially not if it's THEM!

She then foisted the answer to YOU, which you happily took on as "the dom" to begin the subtle slope towards having control over her AND told her not to talk to this other person if they returned.

Sounds like you're trying to edge into the relationship as the dominant but couching it in the harmless shadow of "friendship."

With someone who already has bad judgement and doesn't want to take responsibility for the basic things she needs to.

However long it takes for him or her to move to you and you alone by their own free will. Seduction is well and good, but it is imperative they do the walking. Be needed and wanted. Win through your patience.

I am not trying to edge into the dom role for her by saying that I am a friend. That is just the way I am. that is what I would tell anyone that was talking to a dom/me and then the dom/me just stopped talking to them without saying anything. I was letting her know that she needs to realize that if a dom/me doesn't come thru online that in real life they will be no better.

So you asked her a question that only she can know the answer to (how long do you need before I can get with you?) AFTER she got "under consideration" by a cyber person who disappeared.

She decided she was too overwhelmed and asked you to decide for her.

You come onto a cyber forum to see what other random people think before making the decision for her (a decision which she STILL is the only one who can anser).

You think this is what mature, secure, responsible adults do?

I've always felt being 'under consideration' was rather like dating.  You spend a week chatting with someone online, then all of a sudden you're 'under consideration' - online dating within a v/t BDSM realm.  Just because you're dating someone doesn't mean you want to get married and just because your considering one another doesn't mean you can't consider someone else as well. Just be up front about it and it's all good in my book.

If someone demeaned me by telling me I was under consideration I would tell them to put their head down the toilet and pull the flush.

I think you should offer her a collar of protection, I hear they protect against all sorts of things and trust me, they are ALL the rage right now.

I've never had the good fortune to tell a woman she is under consideration and have her hang around waiting for an answer. Maybe I should collar them first and tie them to a post while I put them under consideration?

Oh, but they have to be the right kind of collar of protection.

In a sacred, official, traditional, ancient ritual ceremony, styled after those performed throughout the ages by our primeval forebearers in the secret lifestyle, Sir Lord Grand Master Dom Flash in the Pants (aka FirmhandKY) has presented me with his "collard of consideration", complete with extreme, ne plus ultra protection to guard against my being commandeered or otherwise appropriated away from his august, exalted, illustrious, and sublime presence.    ;)
