Can any of the ladies here recommend a site (or Metro Detroit store) where my Mistress could find a good strap on? Years ago we purchased one but it was most unsatisfactory as it wouldn't stay in place (and was a bit too large). She wants one that is as realistic looking as possible, 6-8 inches long, and will securely stay in place. Thank you! herpet

It's not so much the strap on that is the problem, it's the harness. To ensure optimum fit, a strap on harness should be custom fit. This means you have to go in person to the shop. Hopefully someone will come along shortly who has an idea of what is in your area. You might try looking on the web, the hard copy yellow pages aren't going to have much under anything you can easily find -- I don't believe they have a category for "sex shops."

Is Fun & Fantasy in Royal Oak still open? Other than that, maybe Cirilla's? Www.blowfish.com has a great selection with excellent reviews of the items.

I agree, most of time it's the harness that doesn't fit right...Have one made or take her to a shop and let her try on a few different styles like the Texas Two strap and the Jaguar...

I got mine at the local Lovers' store. It's nylon, machine washable and fully adjustable to accomodate up to a 60" waist, which is WAY bigger than I need. Do they have a Lovers' store in Royal Oaks, MI? Their website is www.loverspackage.com . Also, Pleasure Me Now has a section that sells strap-ons and harnesses. NBMG

My ex got hers at Noir Leather in Royal Oak. I tried it a few time and it wasnt to bad for the price. Personally I am not that crazy about strapons, I find I have much more control just holding it in my hand.

Corset harness by, I think, sport sheets is well liked by a few ladies I know.

Thanks for all the replies. My wife has usually done the "hand held" variation as the damn thing never stays in place once the action begins.

That vibrating velvet harness is the one I have and I like it. And if the three O-rings in it can't accommodate an attachment, just go to the hardware store and get the right size for really cheap. That's what I do.[:D] NBMG
