How can you take care of your slave when your on a different time zone? As you can see im currently in the philippines, and lets say I have a slave who is residing in the USA; how can I manage my time and his time properly?

imo, you can't. But then I find that long a distance when you both are nothing more than penpals, not to be very satisfying.

The problem with distance, in general, is that as the dominant you have so little actual information. Commands you give have to be fire & forget rather than something you can track all the way to it's goal. All the subtle feedback that happens with face to face is lost. For this very reason I'm very cautious about actually dominating someone long distance. It's like driving a car 3/4 blind to me.

And I'm guessing based upon the OP's age bracket and question that she's not talking about the same thing I'm talking about when we use the word "slave". If what we mean is a bit of long-distance kinky fun then of course one can do that.

Long distance can work, but it's hard, and being in a different timezone doesn't make it any easier. If you can hardly even communicate via IM or phone because the difference is literally night and day, then invariably someone will have to sacrifice sleep in order to spend some time together. Such a relationship is doomed to fail. I would say that a relationship done purely through email, or even mostly through email, is also doomed to fail. There would be no accountability, and very little honesty or trust. And the key with making a long distance M/s relationship work is having a very solid foundation of trust, so that when you issue a command, even though all you have is the slave's word that it was fulfilled, you know it to be true. Building that trust requires time and communication, hence the problem. So in answer to your question, communicate as much as possible, whenever possible.
