the context doesn't matter, whether it's a vanilla or BDSM. set up the expectation, ahead of time, that it's a meet and greet, and that's it.

the only exception for me would be a hook up sex site, like the smart phone apps, which i've only heard about.

OP: you should get to know the person well enough that when you first meet you both know what to expect.

My girl and I talked at length and got to know each other fairly well. We both knew what we wanted when it came time to meet, and we got exactly what we wanted. It only made us stronger as a couple.

Now, my girl and I in love, and I gather you want something a little more basic. The same idea applies though: if you know what is expected, you are more likely to have a positive experience come from it. Don't worry about what to do, just do what you both agreed to. The rest takes care of itself.

I went through a "Damned if you do and damned if you don't" scenario not long ago. Some shit did not sit well with me, there was no pretending it did not. I felt it turn into a damn if do and don't. I went for damn if I do because that was being true to myself, my thoughts and feelings more. I ended up sitting down and writing a long email, I gave up on any expectations of talking voice about it all. Later on during the day, I felt free of it being a "Damn if I do and don't" ordeal. Far as I'm concerned it's a done deal, unless they are willing to talk about it. (hope this helps).
