TheAmericanDream -> YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 11:15:53 AM)

The first thread I read here was the one about erotic combat. When the one dude was talking about how a certain situation could "really happen" it resonated with me because I have been having conflicting feelings lately about one of my hobbies: Jerking off to YouTube videos in which women tie men up as pranks or in some other way torment or humiliate or confine them.

Most of the time anymore I just find the ordeal of an Official BDSM Scene a bit stilted and rote and even a little passe'. "You stand here...no no here....now turn this way...well...I mean I can't walk very well in these heels you have to...yeah put your hands to your side no on the other way yes okay now oh damnit I've got the wrong rope here..." Obviously that's an exaggeration, but most of the play I've done lately honestly has felt a little like going through the motions. It's nobody's fault, but I just crave Authenticity.

Power exchanges that break out seemingly out of nowhere feel more raw and more fun. They're also silly rather than somber although to really do it for me the guy has to be really trapped and the woman has to be sort of a bitch about it all.

Sometimes I go through YouTube videos looking for situations like this, but this raises a niggling feeling of guilt. Of course I am only interested in videos in which everyone is age appropriate, but even given that I wonder: Is it somehow wrong to jerk it to videos people have posted to a public site that were obviously intended to be funny and embarrassing but NOT wank fodder?

I don't think it's morally wrong but you do run the risk of rewiring your brain so that you can only get off to this and not with a real live woman.

Seems unlikely although, per the first article, I have faked on orgasm. That was years ago though, and in a foreign land, so it hardly even counts.

kalikshama -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 1:30:02 PM)

I'm not sure what location has to do with anything, but if you find that you have become impotent with real live women while you have no problem jerking off to You Tube, you have successfully rewired your brain.

TheAmericanDream -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 1:34:52 PM)

That was once, long ago, and based on quite recent experiences my brain wiring vis a vis gettin' it on with real live women is functioning splendidly.

I do still worry a little about the ethics of jerking off to strangers' YouTube videos. I guess it's all very postmodern.

It is not the least bit post modern and if you think you are the only person that does it let me round up about a billion and seven other men so you can have a talk with them. Guys jerk off to all sorts of things and videos on the net really aren't that big of a deal. It isn't like you are crawling around in the bushes outside someones window. Get over it.

I don't like crawling in bushes, I'm allergic to a lot of plants.

I just wonder, like, if I found out that somebody was whacking off to the video of me hitting my buddy Prez in the face with a lemon meringue pie last year on his birthday how much would that weird me out? I can't decide whether it's a little invasive or not. It's like when someone I saw on the subway suddenly pops up in my masturbatory fantasies and I feel conflicted.

TheAmericanDream -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 2:18:56 PM)

Eep my thread was moved. Am I in trouble! I didn't mean to do anything wrong. Do I need a lawyer????

MissImmortalPain -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 2:20:41 PM)

Dude, really, you are on an adult web site for people that are seeking other people that will do things like beat on them and call them names. There may very well be someone beating it to your avatar or profile as we speak. If the net scares you turn your computer off and run while you can.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 2:23:02 PM)

And if you want authentic play, find someone you're into that's also into you, ditch the high heels, and play.

A moderator felt that the topic "YouTube voyeurism" does not belong in the General BDSM forum. You probably won't get a spanking this time.

All sorts of things will pop into your head when you are having sex (even if you have a partner.) This is part of the human condition.

Also, someone. somewhere, will find any little thing you do to be erotic. Some people even find clowns to be sexy instead of scary, sad and evil (the right way to the about clowns.)

If you don't want someone to masturbate to your videos then DON'T POST THEM! You have no control over the billions of people who visit Youtube other then to not give them wank fodder.

As for the truth in BDSM: yes it often has a bit of awkwardness until you find the right partner and have been with eachother for a while. It's the same with vanilla sex too. Until you BOTH know what is needed to make the scene hot there will be little directions all the time. Real sex is not like the movies where people instinctively know what turns each other on. Hell, in the movies there is a director constantly yelling directions and saying, "cut, let's try that a little differently."

That makes sense. I am still a little disappointed in myself for posting it in the wrong place. I'm normally quite proud of my ability to categorize things.

Yes. Or sometimes I just pay for it. There is nothing inauthentic about a good session with a skilled pro.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/28/2012 3:12:35 PM)

Nope, I gave my clients prlenty of authentic sessions. But I loved my work.

MercTech -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/29/2012 9:52:07 AM)

Ok, the first line about "erotic combat" gave me a flashback...

Scene, early 1980s. Place Pattya Beach, Thailand.

The bus from the Thai Royal Navy Piers at Sattahip dropped off the sailors on liberty right in front of one club.
Huge flashing neon sign reading, "Women's Nude Mud Kickboxing"

Yes, it was erotic. But the most entertainment was watching a drunk marine get in the ring and getting clobbered but a couple of girls well under five foot tall.

Karmastic -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/29/2012 4:57:54 PM)

fr-

yes, of course it would be a little creepy for those in the vid to know that someone out there is wacking off them them and their vid. but hey, don't worry about it. nobody has to know who's doing what. no harm, no foul.

no, scuse me while i go wack off to Pepperidge Farm® commercials.

Dude, whenever someone posts a pic of some chick beheaded in Mexico, there's about a thousand women and ten times that number of men around the world fapping to it within hours, and about as many that think it would have been a lot cooler if they had humped the poor thing up the throat afterwards, reverse blowjob style. If what you're doing is morally wrong, then it's certainly pretty far down the list of the sexual sins humans engage in, and quite frankly rather pedestrian.

IWYW,
— Aswad.

Edited for a clearer mental image.

RemoteUser -> RE: YouTube voyeurism. (7/29/2012 7:35:23 PM)

Eroticism often involves weird, unconventional and sometimes dangerous things that go back to a root drive.

An alien will probably never rape you, but you might like anal probing. Or just being dehumanized.

....uhmmm... I'm just going to leave that alone. As for folks family reunion videos, just don't post on them, or start threads like this one, and none will be the wiser.
