Here's the thing, though. This election is going to turn on a percentage of people who won't make up their minds until October. The economy isn't even chugging forward at crap and a half, unemployment is going the wrong way, and a hell of a lot of people think the country is moving in the wrong direction. If enough people decide that Mitt Romney is an acceptable choice, even if that is most reflected in otherwise Obama voters who don't bother to show up on 11/6, Romney gets the job.
Funny as the Jeremy vote of confidence is (and it is funny, [:)]), a frequent charge leveled at Republicans is that they will somehow impose puritanical Baptist mores on society, in complete defiance of the First Amendment. If Ron Jeremy doesn't buy that load of fertilizer, why should the guy who likes porn, and feels like he got suckered last time?
