I see a lot of how do I ____ questions in the forums and I would like the community to give their insights to forum posting. I will start off with the ominous ice cream cone.

How do I get rid of the Ice Cream Cone: You make posts, the icons change as your posts go up.

How do I post an image: You have to use the tags [img]... web link ...[/img] Now to get the image to appear you cant have any spaces between the tags and the link.

Now if you have any tips or tricks please post them or ask a "How do I... " question and the wonderful people here will give you a hand.

Click "search" at the top of the page.  Enter the topic. It helps to change the options to topics and subjects if it's a common or popular topic.

As you post more, you will lose the vanilla icon and move up to brain dead.

Status: offline 		I think this a great idea, the other forum I'm registered with has this, and although there's still some of the posts asking questions, it's cut down an awful lot.  Helpful for the people who need help, and with the added benefit of not seeing the same questions over & over.
