You *know* you want to. . .say. . .sometime this week!

I *know* I want to, but I don't think it's going to happen this week. I might save it for a special occasion.

congrats on your piercing....i would get mine done but then how do i explain them to a 13 yr old who was told she couldn't have her nose pierced? lol Maybe some day i will.

Yay! I'm glad they were easy for you.

I think that guys might hurt more 'cause the peircing has to be farther back and through more skin. At least this is true on most guys 'cause their nipples are littler than us. Though, I got my peircings set pretty far back, so who knows.

i have a 10 year old also but i am not letting her know i have my nipples pierced. Just going to stay covered up!

When i was leaving the shop there was a girl with her mom there, the girl was about 16 but i am not sure what she was having done. i wont let mine get anything pierced (other then ears) until they are old enough to do it on their own!

The piercer did say Men hurt more, but i did still find it funny...

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, i am happy i got it done :)

Ok Im just wondering subbiejenn how your piercings are doing - I hope you are loving having had them done and they are healing all right.

Im now looking for some jewellery for mine becuase I can take my barbells out - its one disadvantage having big nipples in that its harder to find jewellery - ah well its tough being afflicted [;)].

Mine are healing great i think... haven't had any blood or swelling at all *smiles* Funny i would have thought it would feel better without a bra but they feel better with one on and i hate wearing bras!

i am very happy i got them done... i have been looking for jewelry also already *LOL* i want 14G 1/2" 14KT GOLD CAPTIVE BEAD RING and there are couple others i seen i like... i can't wait until i can change them out.

What size do you need?

Hello Jenn..Good for you and I am glad things are going so well...
I was just wondering and I hope you don't mind me asking...
You said you had a daughter, did you breast feed her?
I am thinking at some point to get mine done and I breast feed my son,
so I was wondering if that might desensitize the nipple for easier piercing?
If anyone else has done both do tell!

perverseangelic -> RE: Going tomorrow! (11/19/2004 8:30:52 AM)

My peircer told me that breastfeeding can sometimes cause caluses to build up on the nipples, making peircing harder b/c the need has to go through them.

Being prone to plugged milk ducts, though I found, do the same thing. Owie. :)

Jenn

I just found a BCR ring for my piercings but I'm looking at 20mm which is just over 3/4 inch I beleive. I did discover my piercings are actually peirced too far back so thats why i need a bigger ring/barbell - its hard to find them here but Ive ordered another - the rings are 16G but I want to get to a thicker ring about a 10G so Im going to slowly stretch them out over the next while - I am surprised though that getting a ring put in has caused more pain than when i had the barbells done.

Hopefully your peircings are still going well - and wheres the pics [;)]
