Panromantic demisexual. Eating disordered (EDNOS). Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

I find myself here because I think subspace could genuinely help me get over some of my insecurities and mental issues. My BDD makes me feel very much uncomfortable in my own skin, and this coupled with disordered eating and an inability to stay "out of my head" sometimes makes me wish that I could literally tear my body apart until I don't have to be connected to it anymore. I need to surrender, an out of body experience, a blank mind; to let someone else think for me, even if only for five minutes. A babysitter for my brain would probably be the best description for what I'm looking for.

I hope you'll be willing to work with me, and maybe even help me find peace.

While BDSM can be therapeutic and cathartic, it is not therapy nor a substitute for therapy.

I see you're in Springfield, MA. When I lived there 12 years ago, I knew someone who belongs to WMPE (Western MA Power Exchange) who is well positioned to be able to suggest a therapist. Let me know if you'd like me to try to put you in touch. (We've not been in contact for some time.)

We've had lots of mental health threads recently and people have been very open about their experiences.

Mental Illness

Lacking a Self

Electro Convulsive Shock Therapy (ECT)

Whilst I sincerely hope you get the help that you need, I don't think seeking a kink experience is a good idea at this point. You profile states that you want this because you can't afford therapy - it isn't a good idea to trust your mental health to an untrained person and I dread to think what type of person that statement might attract.

If you do want to explore BDSM, is your boyfriend willing to explore with you? That way you at least have a pre-established relationship of (hopefully) trust and support in which to try new things.

Please don't use subspace as an alternative to proper treatment, your mental health is too precious to risk making things worse.
