So... I've known Sunshine on-line for quite a while, and we've tried to arrange meets a couple of times (I'm in yankland quite a bit, so there was always a chance that one of my visits would coincide with one of hers), but it's taken till this year before we could actually set a date.

So... despite my train journey taking 9 hours instead of 4.5, and despite only having a couple of hours to hang out once I got there, it finally happened.

Yay.

What's nice is when someone is just the same (awesome) in real life as they are in person.

Now let me tell all y'all about the wonderful and slap-me-I-must-be-dreaming-there-can't-be-such-a-schmexy-guy Crazy ML...

Here's the scene: You're sitting in a chilly train station, waiting for hours for a man you've never met, but you know in your gut that he's well worth the wait. You know in your gut that he's a good and decent man who will in fact show up. A book, a warm sweater, and a little patience, and POOF! Magically, he appears. Good heavens was he worth the wait!

If the accent isn't enough to make you swoon, his take charge manner while treating you like a lady will do you in. He's of course witty and charming and sharp as a whip as you can tell from his posts. Add the solid, real life man, and that's all she wrote.

And he smells good, too.
