I'm usually very hesitant about purchasing things online from sites that I'm unfamiliar with, and googling reviews of this site did not help matters, since they're either negative or mixed at best. So does anyone know anything about it, or have experience with it? It's pretty hard to purchase toys that fit my criteria, aren't excessively expensive, and are on a reputable site...

I've bought from them before and had no problems. I tend to read the reviews of products on the site for each item. Some of it is wank fodder but sometimes you can find a real live review telling how well the product works. They aren't too terribly high priced, but they're not the cheapest either. Lucifyre

Thanks! That's pretty encouraging. Although for these particular toys it no longer matters, because I found them on amazon, with better reviews and lower prices, lol.

ER seems to be solely a reseller, so there's a good chance you're going to be able to find most of what they carry elsewhere for a lower price. The one time I bought from them was because everyone else was out of stock on the item I wanted and they were the only game in town at that point.

I've never had a problem with them. Discreet shipping and billing and everything I have from them still works. :p plus they have great sales now and again

I've bought several products from Extremerestraints.com and never had a problem with any of them, I would recommend them to anybody who asked.

Extreme Restraints is about one of the most reputable bdsm stores. I've bought from them a few times when they are the only ones who have the item or it's cheaper with them. Never had any problems.

I can only echo everyone else's good experiences with ExtremeRestraints. They generally have a bonus gift for first time customers, look for that. Yes, you might find it cheaper elsewhere, but ER really does have excellent customer service and value for the money. Another place you might try, though you will pay top dollar, is Stockroom, formerly known as JT's Stockroom. For floggers, you have to go to Achella. I've heard of people getting great gear through eBay, I personally am leery of paying for cheap gear that falls apart after a few uses.

Actually, I saw the workroom of Bordello of Decadence (http://www.bordelloofdecadence.com/) when I was in LA and I was salivating, unfortunately they only have a very very limited amount on the site, but their floggers were of such amazing quality and they built some special restrains and furniture to specs... There was a BDSM workshop going on next to their crafts and showroom, I missed half the classes because of the furniture and toys... Anybody in the area should certainly drop in and have a look, really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, no hard sale, in the end I had to actually almost persuade them to sell me a great dragon whip and that thing really really is well made, I mean after having it for months, my love affair with it has not diminished and my single tails get jealous...

I have been curious myself about the site as well. Does anyone have input on the collars they sell? One site I have found with interesting products is twistmyrubberarm.com since i am a big rubber fan although I am a little skeptical about the quality there.

I have brought from them and I am in the UK, shipping wasnt terribly cheep or fast - and there was the dreaded inport tax. But everything arrived in good order and the service was good. I would use them again, certainly for anything I couldnt find in the UK.

They're an ok site overall. They do do stuff like rebadge chinese electro-acupuncture sets as electrosex kits and sell them at huge mark-ups so it pays to do some research sometimes : p I personally wouldn't count on their customer reviews unless it's a negative one.

I have bought from them and I echo almost all the comments on here. The negetive review of the inflatable enema plug was mine. Cheap device and Mistress only got about 6 squeezes on it before it ruptured. Everything else we purchased from them was in good shape and still is. That being said, Mistress Mary builds her own X-Rack, Stocks and spanking bench, I build our mouth soaping machine, but for toys, we have found they are good with regards to shipping and XR lets you know if an item is backordered and doesn't bill you for the item until it ships. Not the cheapest, but not the highest prices either.
