This discussion is about sounds. Male or female, I honestly don't care. I'm not all that interested in female genitalia, so I'm hoping someone will come along and fill in the blanks there.

I had a set that was given to me some years back that went the way of an ex. I never got to use them very much on him or anyone else. I was just as of late given another set by someone that loves to play with them. He is a little more about the torture side of them. Force him to get off until it acutally hurts. MIP, I have to admit I am not well versed in the topic of long term damage. Thank you for bringing the thought to My attention. I would have to suppose it would be like anything else. Abuse any part of the body too much and there will be a problem.

Hi again LadyP, great thread!
I have been using sounds on both males and females for a number of years and like you, I thoroughly enjoy using them.
I think the important points to make is, always sterile equipment including individual sterile sachets of lube and sterile gloves
Only use what was meant to go into the urethra. I can't believe that some people stick pencils, birthday candles and other stuff in their.
Never force anything. If its painful then you are doing something wrong and probably causing harm.
I have done urethral stretching with Hagar sounds but this is a very gradual process. I also use electrics with sounds which both men and women find very orgasmic.
Women have a very short urethra and are more susceptible to urine infections than men.

I have always wanted to use sounds, and have never been connected with anyone who was into them.

I just luuuuuuuuuurve the control factor. Oh shesh yes.

I know they need to be scrupulously sterilized and stored, and you should start with a small diameter and work up slowly. I'd need a real life demo before I'd actually sound anyone out.

cringe....Master has talked about using sounds on me but they terrify me to death. They look extremely painful and I'm afraid of getting an infection and then being laid up for a few weeks until it clears. Would the use of sounds too often cause the area to stretch out eventually?

Ice sounds! Take a straw, fill it with water and plug each end so the water doesn't leak out. Pop into the freezer until frozen. Remove from freezer and run under warm water for a few then cut away the straw (usually the warm water will allow the 'sound' to just drop out of the straw, but cut it away if you need) then run the 'ice sound' itself under warm water for a few seconds until it's nice, rounded and smooth and you get the sounds and ice play in one neat little package.

I have a 17 inch probe that has a tiny vibrator on the end of it. It can reach beyond the prostate and into the bladder.

Hi Buzz, You can put a sound in an erect cock. An erect cock is merely stretching out the length of the urethra. Most people like to start with a flaccid cock though.

I occasionally use sounds on more intrepid souls.

In addition to sterile technique (gloves, using an antiseptic pad to wipe the urethra before insertion, and insuring that sounds have been sterilized before use) it is also a good idea for both women and men to forcefully urinate both before and after sounding. If approved by an MD, Rx nitrofurantoin 50 mg can be given as prophylaxis beforehand to prevent possible infection.

Tell the receiving person to hold still during insertion. Tie them if needed. My sub learned this the hard way when he squirmed, and the sound abruptly popped out causing irritation and a little bleeding.

For males: add a conductive anal plug and wire one side of the channel to that, the other to the stainless sound. Turn on the juice. They'll be eating out of your hand.

For females: use a bipolar vaginal trode, a 4 channel box, triphase-wired urethral sound and let her have a vibrator for her clit. Anal plug optional (either wired or not). She'll explode in seconds.

For the life of me I cannot see me doing this. When I get checked out at the health Dept. that is enough for me. To have something that deep would have to be a hard limit foe me, at least for so far. God the pain, man I would run for cover.

I wouldn't think the problem was the erection. Due to the stimulation, even starting with a flaccid penis, the erection can be obtained quickly.
