I don't understand it. First let me say I've sampled that search bar and have gotten a TON of threads regarding interesting ideas on time frames, hygiene, health, safety, long term affects, methods (keys and long distance etc.), cheating the device, how hard it is, device reviews, pictures, household contraptions, extremely rare outcomes, costs of long distance pro-dominas that will throw your key in the jar...

But no threads about "I enjoy chastity because..." Well now there is one. (It's possible in the 300 pages [capped at maximum] of search results, of which I read 50, there was such a thread.)

I like chastity because...

1. I can take a lot more pain if I haven't masturbated in the days leading up to play
2. It reminds me who is in control...even when I'm the only one around...
3. It makes me think of my Domme/Dom even more when I can't release

there's three off the top of my head...I don't wear any devices... don't need to. If I'm told to abstain, I abstain. i like chastity because it stops my continuous urge to masturbate.

almost all Dommes want to control a males physical pleasures and control him to their liking. as a sub i find this beneficial and desirable. i can be controlled and manipulated much easier when i am in chastity.

Great website, by the way. I completely agree that holding back helps, and that getting off recently diminishes many sub-males' will to serve. But do you think the effects magnify over long tracks of time? I read about men in chastity for 3 weeks. Is 3 weeks appreciably better than 5 days?

i have been in chastity for extended periods up to 56 days. i can only say that afer a week or more the urge to cum deminishes significantly. when i was allowed to cu( or could not prevent myself after stimulation it was a big disappointment. it is all in the mind and over so quickly, you don't know it really happened. of course the feelings of disappointment, shame and failure make you want to end any new period of chastity.

i now understand why a Domme may want to keep a submissive/slave in extended chastity. i am free at present and find i only have a desire to orgasm every few days. i hope i might find a new Domme to serve whom will desire to keep me in chastity again for an extended period.

I enjoy chastity only if it's what she enjoys. I enjoy a lack of control. if it means chastity, then I enjoy it, if it means cumming so often that my balls are sore and ache then so be it.

So in that sense I'm indifferent to chastity.

I'm a little late responding to this, but if you are still interested...

I'm only into Chastity (literally) temporarily. Like for a couple of hours playing with a dominant. It's sorta like keeping the cork in the champagne, shaking it up and finally removing it. I do think it may be disrespectful to get a hard-on while playing with a real Dom woman, and the device prevents that. It does gather the scrotum up nicely for abuse. It's great for a little humiliation ("you can't even get hard! You emasculated sissy").

Longer term chastity, I do not understand.

I've been kept in chastity for as long as 3 months.
I discovered that not only does it kill my sex drive, it also makes me more prone to emotional roller coasters.

So I don't enjoy chastity. However, I totally LOVE the hardware involving chastity.
Something along these lines:

Remove the hardware from the equation, and I loose interest quick. To the point that it's an order I simple will not obey if it's keeping me in chastity too long, because I know of the devastating effect it has on me emotionally and psychologically. Anything longer than 2 weeks is a hard limit for me.
I need orgasms to stay healthy.

Exactly... the hardware. My CB6000 feels and fits great and I can wear it unnoticed under clothing, so as to disrobe for my top when I get there and expose it. I like having it clamped onto me. I really rather enjoy my steel tube device, the cold steel adding something to the experience.
