im meeting a lady who wants to be my sub soon. she said she might have her period at that time. is there anything i can do to enhance our play or anything to avoid? any kinky ideas ? im open to all suggestions
thank you

Well it depends on what she's up to.

Remember a dark towel if you're on carpet or bedding

Enjoy the shower or the outdoors

Some women love having their menstrual blood painted on their bodies, or made to drink it- tampons are your friend.

Otherwise, just do what you always do.

I wish I didn't read that.. I wish I didn't read that.  I have found another hard limit. Thanks LA

Dear BMSM...

Hi!  Yes, I agree with you and I am thrilled that Master just wants my body to have its down time "down there."  We still have fun in other ways, but a few days each month don't have to "cramp" our style.

(Sorry...  couldn't resist the terribly awful pun...)
*tiptoes quietly out of room and hides in closet...*

I actually find that sexual activity alleviates my cramps.  Nothing like a series of earth shattering orgasms to make you forget about your troubles!

WolfinShadow -> RE: period play? (6/13/2006 6:38:30 PM)

Congratulations if this is your first set of " red wings" to use an Old biker term , In this day and Age i would avoid Oral contact , Unless you know she is free of STD's . Not like the old days when that was how you earned your " wings"

I agree that a good orgasm helps Both cramps and PMS and would add that it seems from anactdotal eveidence that it is also easier to bring a woman to orgasm while on her cycle. this of course is not only the case. I will also say that since she mentioned it to you , it may be a problem for her. Make sure she iscomfortable with her cycle and sex during menstration. to some its a fetish , to others a phobia.

For us its pretty simple - we just stick to anal and oral sex during that time.  Using tampons keeps everything pretty clean.

mastersayed -> RE: period play? (6/14/2006 8:23:14 AM)

just whatever you do, don't let her be on top. (that was a bad mistake I made 4 months ago, I had to take a whore's bath 5 minutes before class to make it there)

And, NastyDaddy is right about the flow stopping when a woman is in water. Not sure why the body does that, but it happens.

Mybe its so women wont attract sharks and piranahs. lol[;)]

Trust me, the same thing can happen no matter what the position.  (Keep in mind that I am more than twice your age and have been menstruating for over 25 years now.)  Next time allow for clean up time. [:)]

ChainedDesire -> RE: period play? (9/28/2006 7:45:16 AM)

i have to say that during my monthly flow i had a dom who used to insist that the blood made him stronger and he loved every drop of it, after my initial grossed out feeling it felt incredibly good and led to incredible orgasmic release for both of us.

Periods will often stop temporararily if the woman is immersed, so go swimming... then dump the suits and have fun. There is nothing like the motion of the ocean if you are near it... and maybe some Bob Marley playing to make it more beachy?

I haven't gotten through the rest of the thread so I don't know if someone caught this but a woamn's period does not stop when they are immersed.  The blood just gets whisked away in the water where you can't see it.  Unless you have a pivate pool, this is very unsanitary.  The flow seems to stop but a study in a hospital I once worked at did discover that there was quite a bit of blood in the water when tested, it just wasn't visible to the naked eye.

Silvermoon -> RE: period play? (9/28/2006 8:35:32 AM)

Periods do not stop if you're immersed in water. Someone skipped their sex ed classes and women's health *chuckles*

Seriously though, They make a product now that fits over the cervix like a diaphram and is specifically designed for use during periods for intercourse. It is available at shoppers drug mart, but not sure of other stores. I don't recall the product name but I am headed there anyhow. I'll take a look.

Sincerely
Silver

It's funny to me that Master and I are willing to do so many other things in our play and intimate life, but this is one that we don't do

The pun-ster in my finds it amusing that ....

Daddy's little head don't get red in DaddysRedHead.

Okay, in spite of going down for the first time on a female and finding that darn string (at least it was VERY fresh and so was she)... there is NO WAY I could drink that blood.  I've never been so pleased to be spayed; just in case someone gets any ideas!!!   Okay... a new hard limit for meeeeeeeeee...

Ok just returned from the drug store, and since I promised to give the name of the product (even if no one is paying attention) the name of the product is called INSTEAD, it's made by Soft Cup.

Sincerely,
Silver

I hope you and she have a wonderful time together! You "may" want to avoid oral sex with her, or you may not. If it is late in her period there may not be much blood. I would put lots of towels on the bed to help with the "mess" and since it is your "first" meeting...I would suggest you use a raincoat. By the way...many women get VERY frisky during their period and orgasms help with cramps. Also, don't forget...there are many many fun things that you and she can do together that don't involve intercourse.
Not judging the gentleman and his girls decision to play/have sex on this first meeting, as they are adults and should do whatever they desire in my opinion.    I agree with above advice of continuing with active birth control pills if she wants to avoid the period dilemma all together.

I loved your post and thoughts up until the "that don't involve intercourse?"    On her period is a perfect time to have intercourse as she's already lubed and if she wants it, not much more foreplay needed.   Some women hate sex of any type during their periods, and than there are those of us who get horny and want it during our periods.   For myself it has more to do with my comfort level with partner, and his comfort level with me/readyness to go there.
So FRANKINPIP, you and your girl are the only two people who'll be able to decide what type of play and how far to take it.   M

Thanks for the information, Silvermoon.  One never knows when one will need it.

MzKaren -> RE: period play? (9/28/2006 1:15:27 PM)

Instead is also available at the wicked Wal-Mart. These little things are fabulous as well as fairly inexpensive. I've used them for years and would never go back to pads or tampons.

The instead is disposable.  There are lso two otehr forms of internal period control without strings.  The Keeper is latex and The Diva cup is completely non-latex adn unlike the insteads, they have a long life span and hold a bit more.  Draw back is that you can have vaginal intercourse with the instead in place but not with a keeper or a diva cup.  You can google the names to find them online.
