Perhaps they can't understand what you were saying to them. Try again after running your email through a spell and grammer check.

Acer isn't a good brand anyway.  Go with Toshiba.

The problem is, chains, that any potential Mistress you might contact likes to have some idea from your message what exactly it is you are expecting from her.

It seems that you are quite proud of your semi-literacy and if that is a kink of yours I am not about to stop you.  But it might be that as much as your age that is hindering your chances.

Oh my, defensiveness, posturing and the inability to take constructive criticism. What attractive qualities in a potential mate.

Let's see, I misspelled grammar, silly me. Well I'm not perfect, but I do have some periods and commas in my arsenal. Here, you can borrow a few .......,,,,,,,,,,,

But my GOSH, Chains!!!  You have to be able to communicate in your native language!!!  Were I a domme, I would not respond to an inquiry from you.  Has nothing to do with age but with basic communication skills!

GEEZZ!!

"It seems a bit one-sided if a Domme has misspelled words or typos.  It's fine but they expect perfection from others and lack it in themselves.  When I run spell check it also checks their posting and maybe 1 out of 100 will ever be perfect.  It makes one wonder if they seek a true service sub or a scholar."

I don't think they are looking for perfection, they just need to be able to understand you. If they can't, they will not respond.  The fact that you're not willing to take steps to make sure your posts are clear tells them that you are probably lazy in other areas too.  The words, puncutation and letters in shown in red are all corrections I made to your text.  Took about five minutes.  You are attempting to communicate with people via the written word, not vocalisation.  Good grammar and spelling, or at least a lot better than what you're doing now, are essential for good communication.  Not everyone can type 85 wpm and no one expects them to.  Not everyone spells as well as someone else might.  But at least take the time to read through your post and correct glaring errors. If you're unsure, get a dictionary and use it.  There's a great one at www.m-w.com.  If you have something that is a shortcoming for you, that's ok.  But take steps to do your best.

Age is a preference or a limit just like everything else in the world.

You may not like that is someone's limit or preference but you have no right to expect them to change or accept you if you knowingly try to start something with them.

Now, if they aren't upfront about the age limit or preference then I think you have a reason to feel miffed but again, you can't change them so try again.

When we are told we are too old, too fat, to young, too liberal, too narrow-minded, too anything it does hurt. I think the best approach is to ask why you would want to be with someone like that and if you find yourself approaching that type of person over and over again, what is it that is the attraction.

We can't change others unless they want to change; maybe work on changing yourself but looking older mistresses or people who don't have age preferences.

I'm 50 chains314, be 51 in August. They are not exactly lined up around the block for me, but that's not important. What is important is I know the kind of slave I am & I know what service I can give an Owner. It only takes one Dom/me to realize that to give you your chance. Don't give up or let anyone tell you that you are too anything.

bottom line chains314, you are not your age. What you are encompasses your mind, body, and spirit. And not necessarily in that order, but the wholeness of them within your comfort with yourself. Remember the light is not in the body, The body is in the light. If you do this not only will you see yourself differently, so will O/others.

YES i under stand all that and i know i don't  spell good or type good  and might lake the formal education some or Lucky to have but i am not stupid en-ought to read a profile that has an age  limit and apply to it ,I respect any ones right to choose who ever thy wish for any reason but if thy got restrictions and state looking for experienced sub over 40 last i looked 55 is over forty . to then right back and say i liked your profile but i think you or to old . why not be up front about it like thy ask sub and say you or to stupid to serve some one as smart as me . I cant see war asking is 55 to old for a sub so involved as to ridicule me for spelling and Cramer .

Age is completely subjective.  You may be too old for one, yet too young for another.  Also the number of years one carries is not always equal to their frame of mind.  I had an age cut off, and accidentally met someone outside of that 'restriction'... and despite a fairly substantial age gap, I often feel like I am the older one.

Regarding the spelling issue,  from my perspective, I view a profile, and immediately skip by one with many misspelled words.  The profile is a projection of the person... how you want others to perceive you and decide if they care to get to know you.  If he can't use spell check, what else can't he do?

What is "acer?"  If it is "exist," it should be clear that over 25 years of meeting them that they do exist.

John,

I think acer is answer.

At this point, though, I think this might be a bit of a hoax.  I mean, he corrects someone earlier on "grammar" then spells it Cramer later.  There are many mistakes which someone with a lacking education makes, and many that show carelessness, but he does neither, and just makes the most random and strange mistakes.  Someone is trying too hard.

Yours,

benji
