Interesting article.Enjoy...

"President Obama has taken a lot of heat and hatred from Catholic Bishops as of late for his decision to expand women’s access to contraception, a move that members of the Catholic Church and the Republican Party claim is pro-abortion. Indeed, the Catholic hierarchy and conservative politicians such as Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and others seek to ban contraception and abortion services entirely based upon their twisted interpretation of the Bible.

So that makes Romney more pro-life than President Obama, right? Not so fast.

In an article published by the National Catholic Reporter, an independent news source, civil and canon attorney and Duquesne School of Law Professor Nicholas Cafardi deems President Obama the most pro-life candidate in the 2012 Presidential election."

Attempt to redefine life as Illinois Senator. Pesky definition if that fetus actually has the audacity to draw a first breath when mom did not want it.

Pregnancy as a punishment.

It is a hard call to decide who is more treacherous. Some of us actually think pregnancy is a blessing.

C'mon. Thats just laughable. Duquesne is the co-chair for catholics for O'bama.. what did you think he'd say?

The fact that the paper has the word catholic in its masthead - doesn't make it so. The paper is independent, and not afiliated with the catholic church. In fact, it was asked by the catholic church to remove the word catholic.

So, what you have here is a paper pushig a 'progressive' view.

The only thing this article proves is how morally bankrupt many writers - including Duquesne are - as evidenced by his willingness to tie himself into knots, trying to proclaim O'bama as 'pro-life'.

In the US, pro-life has meant those opposed to abortion. Pro-choice is the opposite camp.
Whether you agree with abortion or not, the attempt to change the meaning of pro-life to fit O'bama is merely intellectual dishonesty.
