How are diapers commonly viewed as in the BDSM lifestyle? I started out as an ABDL and just recently found my submissive side. I would love to incorporate the two together but I don't know if anyone even does that. I'd like to hear your opinion! [:D]

There are not a heap of folks into ABDL. That doesn't mean they're not out there. And of course you know the range of activities therein, so you can imagine...

LOTS of people are completely icked out by diaper play. As a person who was on Planet Caregiver, I find diapers the opposite of erotic. Which is kind of sad, because I've talked to lots of ABDL folks over the years and they really enjoy their fetish and are very friendly! So, don't be discouraged by the EW ICK responses.

Fetlife has groups aplenty dedicated to this, I recommend you look there for groups and maybe even local folks. Have fun!

LOL... I'd be hard pressed to name anything including just plain vanilla missionary sex with the lights off that doesn't appal a fair share of someone, somewhere. Heck, Carol and I don't even get up to anything like that and we've been known to raise an eyebrow or two.

I am not one for diaper play but I think in this alternative lifestyle...you can like what you want. But I have heard a million times on here that if you can think of it, chances are it has probably been done and there are people who love it. So don't get discouraged. :)

I like to do it which watching porn with the lights on, does that count? tee hee hee

OP, from what I've seen, you are looking at a very small sliver of Dominant women that will match that particular kink. (One of the reasons that pros who specialize in that field can make BANK.)

Just as a suggestion for you. When you are contacting people here via email that capture your interest, you may want to look for that particular option (AB/DL) selected as a like or love on their interest list on their profile. A bit of friendly advice.

Since you ask about the BDSM world as a whole, Timid, I will say I've never diapers changed in a public space, but I have seen them worn. Of course, I can count on my hands and toesies how many times I've been to public play spaces. It seems to be a more private dungeon/home kink. I don't think any experienced kinkster is surprised by its existence, but I imagine most people don't fetishize it. Lady Hibiscus raises a good point: Parents will often be reminded of baby-rearing, not baby-making.
