It's not Islamophobia any more than in 1940 people had Nazi-phobia.
Leftists condemn a conservative for opposing gay marriage, but how about Islam which thinks all gays should die? Wait, that's Islamophobia? No it isn't. Truth is an absolute defense against libel.
Leftists might condemn individual citizens or politicians who hold unconstitutional views, but that's different from condemning entire groups or nations of people. Not all Christians are alike or have the same beliefs, and the same could be said about Muslims. It can't possibly be the "truth" if it involves condemnation of an entire ethnic or religious group and painting them as if they all have the same beliefs.

If this is really true, then where are all the conservatives protesting against America's involvement and cooperation with these "evil" Muslim regimes in the Middle East? Where is the condemnation for Saudi Arabia? Why don't we hear any conservatives call for kicking Turkey out of NATO? Why didn't we side with Greece against Turkey over the Cyprus affair? If we really believe that Islam is an evil threat to civilization which should be condemned, then such condemnation should at least be consistent, shouldn't it? We should also condemn our own leaders for jumping into bed with Muslim governments. Until I start seeing conservatives condemn their own for getting involved with Muslim regimes, then much of what they say about supposed "threats" to America has to be taken with a grain of salt.

It may have been in poor taste, although sometimes comedians are given a bit of a pass on certain things. George Carlin was like that, too. A lot of his material was politically incorrect.
