Hello E/everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I guess I am Dom male but not sure I like to put labels on myself. I have seen that many who call themselves Dom are actually just abusive people who masquerade as being Dom. I am not sure I fit into the role of a master either because for me the term doesn't fit given the fact that nobody can actually own another in the US. Slavery was abolished many years ago. Anyway I have been on the site for a while trying to make friends with others in the lifestyle regardless of orientation. I have been involved for about 3 years and enjoy chatting with others who can give me insight into the lifestyle. If you would like to be friends, chat or even more let me know as I would really enjoy getting to know people

Welcome to the message board, Max. I hope you enjoy your time here. There are an awful lot of abusive humans out there as well, the secret is to be comfortable enough in your own skin to outshine the buggers! seriously! It's on page 263 of the twue dom handbook

Awesome point poise.... I agree 100%. I had a lot of internal struggles when I first entered this lifestyle over that particular aspect of things.

When I look at a new profile, use and abuse are usually the first two things along with "verbally aggressive" that are in there, because that's what's seen in bdsm videos. Doesn't make it right or wrong, just something that turns the person on. If it's not for you that's great. But not everyone here is wrong just because they are into things you aren't. Not saying you're accusing anyone of the like. Just saying "Welcome" in a long mundane post.
