Y/you see, im just not sure how to go about things anymore......im the shy and timid type....but i can come off as blunt and demanding....but its more that im scared then anything....had some difficult times....i find it hard to meet P/people....im scared to msg Someone first....i think my profile is too forward....how does one with a fear such as mine go about meeting Someone new....Someone who is all she needs........
*sighs*....think i just needed a little vent.....

I would say that they are taking your advice listed in the first 4 lines and not bothering. Spellcheck is your friend & complete sentences will help clarify who you are and what you're looking for.

Welcome to the boards.
I have read your profile and it is not forwared in the least.

Mine is more forward than yours but I have rewrote it many times and now it reflects the true person that I am.

I have wrote many respectfully and have been pleasently surprised that they responded back. Just be who you are!!! If they have difficulties with that then they are not for you.

I am probably as shy and timid as you are but I know that if I want to find my one then I need to send emails to those that interest me.

Just be yourself and you will be fine. Don't let anyone change who you are. Just find the one that fits who you are.

I think it is the drama of a 20 something that is driving them away plus you are quite real and not enough fantasy in there for your typical dominant to get lost in.

im not sure i understand exactly what You mean by everything there....would You mind explaining a little further.....

i get that someone young CAN come with drama...but not all.....and as for the fantasy...shouldnt W/we all be being as real as we are...this isnt a game or a fantasy to me, it is much who i am......judging a book by its cover is never the way to go....thats why i hate feeling i have to sell myself

Your profile isn't too forward, and you should message people first (pot calling the kettle black here). However, don't expect your someone only for you to find you automatically here or anywhere. It may happen, it may not. So message, get to know, respond to messages, meet for coffee. Become friends first - once you find a group of friends, a someone will come more easily.

You have a great profile and with that openness and honesty you will meet the person you wish.  The only people you could possibly put off are ones that aren't suitable to your tastes anyway.

hahhhhhaaa I have placed my certificate in my WC frame, especially crafted for the occasion..... although I had become efficient at being a WOC and will quite miss the feeling of anticipation I was getting before becoming a WC. [:D]

I would say maybe you should find a local group and join their message board. Post there and get to know some of them then perhaps you can find another sub that you can feel comfortable enough with to attend a munch and get to know people in real life, build your confidence from there. As far as writing to people here... that isn't as hard as it sounds... just do it... what's the worst thing that could happen? Rejection? I wouldn't worry about it. Who knows? You may make some great friends.
 
I'm still trying to figure out how to bring Osama, Bushco or Allah into this conversation casually... (off topic joke)
