jeeeeeezuz christ angel....I am so with poohbear on that one....I lubs australia on TV...seriously, I enjoy it when they show some shows when people consider to move down there....but I also think regularly "now...where is one of those monster spiders"...I am already getting goose skin over here when they are bigger than I like and my cats refuse doing their job to eat them (seriously have to retrain them, so that they only get treats when they do that and at no other time...though I doubt they will accept that rule either...)

anyhow, most often they do eat them so I won't complain but one of those....no thanks....soooooo fucking no thanks at all!!!!

It's not the big ones you've got to worry
bout mate... It's the little ones that cause
your skin to rot off that are annoying.

To bad they're one of the common ones...

Yeah I know that view....though the smaller ones I would manage to catch and chuck out or destroy....however such a monster I would move out until it left my place

How Australia will kill you...

Oh yeah awesome  as it says:

Australia is also home to over 280 species of poisonous spider, including that aforementioned Sydney Funnel Web Spider. What, did you think it was just a name? No, it lives in cities, in garages, in tool sheds and houses - it even swims. IT FUCKING SWIMS.
on the other hand I just stumbled over a lovely song about australia  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDMkVq1jRGU&feature=related

I don't mind killing spiders myself. It's those large, flying palmetto bugs we get in the south I hate. They crunch when you squish them, ewwww.

Oh yeah...they are just as awful....

Hmm this was the actual little spider I was
talking about *Here* but just reading
the Wiki now and it looks like them causing
necrosis was disproven!
Phew cos theres a lot on my property, but I
suppose it begs the question... What was biting
people and making their skin rot off??
Shouldn't someone try to find out, it's kind of
a big deal when that happens...

Proving that my posting of monkeys is not fake... this is the sock monkey
a couple of employees gave me when I transferred back to Portland.

I particularly like that. Reminds of when my little Misty had an operation and an e-collar on. Poor baby was miserable... you could tell that having 1 of those on is truly demanding for a vain kitty.

The last one I had been with sure as hell had an
"Off" switch, that's for fucking sure. She turned it off
a helluva lot.
