Internet respect is a contradiction in terms and at the very least, meaningless. There's nothing wrong with wishing to be communicated with in a polite/respectful manner, but I think there is a common agreement here that Dom's asking to be shown respect over the internet without a sub having met them is silly, It's very close to the idea of secondlife M/s or chat room protocols for me. And I just shake my head at that stuff. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

WOW lol it is more or less respect for everyone in general but with people taking things way out of context it doesnt matter anyway. But common knowledge and respect isnt known by everyone and on this site i has been contacted by rude people so respect is respect but thanks for the wonderful welcome

This is not like the other side with the profiles, this is mostly a discussion area. If you want to check out different threads and contribute... you will find that you are welcomed and there are cool people here. Shrug... just sayin'.

I wasn't criticising you, I am giving you a heads up that unless you write clearly when you talk about respect, you may be walking into a minefield. I mean, how many respectful replies have you gotten to this thread because you mentioned respect... See what I'm saying? If you wanted my advice, I'd say despite your previous experience with rude people contacting you, you should give the people that haven't contacted you yet the benefit of the doubt. But it's your call.

[sm=welcomewave.gif] Chaos I think Second Life is a great tool to those who can't or won't, for whatever reason, get out and live it for real. To you and 99.9% of anyone reading this may look at it like something you play and get off on, but there are quite a few that live it or have lived it in real life. Then again, profile driven dating sites are not far behind that perception, IMHO.
