The IRS wouldn't agree with you. A tax is a debt.
A tax break is a forgiven debt.
If a creditor forgives a debt, according to the IRS, you must report that amount as gift income.

This campaign hinges on the basic ideological difference between Conservatives and Leftists, which that difference boils down to this

Conservatives believe that government should be our servant, while Leftists strongly feel as though government should be our master

Who built that business indeed.

I sure wish there were some conservatives left in the Republican party. Nixon and Ford were the last of the breed. Some folks even say you hav e to go back to Goldwater.

It's not anyone's belief. It's the law.

Are you truly so uninformed as to be unaware of the difference between belief and case law?

As for me saying anything belongs to our masters in government, that's not even a pitiful strawman. It's just a bald faced lie.

the right believes it and they defend it to the hilt,  too, they own the house and I dont see a bill coming out to remove that line of tax code.

And the lefts version of "solving their problems is te effectively nationalize them ("You didn't build that") and tax them at confiscatory rates in order to fund crony capitalism at the highest levels of government

And to buy the votes from the welfare classes needed to keep the cronys in power, Chicago style

How is that poverty maintenance program coming along boys

You have enough poor souls being held captive in those welfare chains yet

If we actually did control what our bureaucrats do, what our bloated federal government does, don't you think that congresses and the presidents approval ratings would be a little higher
