I've been looking for a new pet for a while and ended up lurking on here for a couple of days. Anyway, as the Greeks said carpe scrotum and all that so now I have an account. If you read a newspaper, turn on a TV, or are remotely aware of your general surroundings then all I ask is that you please don't judge me too harshly by where I'm from.

Peace,

Waltz

Welcome Waltz. Be careful, it's a tough crowd here.

I prefer 'carpe crustum' (damn these low-carb diets!)

Welcome to the boards, Waltz.

Welcome to collarme but be careful with what you say... some of the ladies around here will take "carpe scrotum" as an invitation.

"Carpe" is Greek? My old school nuns have some 'splainin' to do!

I say: Carpe diem cras! (seize the day, tomorrow)

Welcome to Collar Chat. Mind you don't step on the ducks.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Hey, you managed to spell correctly, so you're safe here in Intro.

It's the Politics and Religion section where asses are regularly chewed on.

Welcome to CM.

Yeah, I consider myself moderately well versed in the liberal arts but spelling is usually what gets me. I swear I'm usually capable of at least rudimentary communication with my peers.

And I prefer to argue theology and politics in person. Preferably over a beer or three or five.
