When I was in a D/s relationship, it was long distance at first. After being together several times, my dom had a pretty good idea of who I was and he was a man with a wicked good imagination! He was able to keep me rather focused. That said... He was extremely careful about it. He was concerned about my privacy, my safety and my emotional well being. He never pushed it too far. After all, if something went wrong, or it left me in much different frame of mind than he'd envisioned, he was not here to help me deal with it. That was a big deal to him and- honestly- THAT made me feel more connected to him than if he'd gone the other direction. I knew that I could trust him and that he would not be leaving me to deal with things on my own. While pics and cam are a great way for you to see what she's doing for you, the stuff you ask of her that's not private? To distinguish it from actual punishments that are supposed to be unpleasant consequences for misbehaviour. Pretending to punish a submissive for mutual fun is such a staple role-play scene, it's convenient to have a quick way to distinguish it from actual punishments which have a very different purpose and execution. It stops confusion like this ^^

If you haven't already, have a few talks with her about what she's done in the past - what worked, what didn't, in addition to things she is willing to try. Share your thoughts with her about what would please you. Some of those things will work despite the distance, some will not; but in the sharing you become closer, and that's always a healthy step to take. [:)] Have fun, be safe!
