But please, how about some of the silent lurking majority speaking up this time, would be nice :)

I dunno what this is about, but usually when I stumble across one of your posts I appreciate it.

I do am interested in your mind.

FR

I do am opposed to Mods socializing with us commoners. It behooves them to keep some distance and hence neutrality.

Honestly karma, I've noticed you picking fights on more than one occasion.

True, but that is his nature. I make allowances for that.

Yep. I was put on [Awaiting Approval] only once, as far as I recall, and that was because of an altercation with a vicious sub. I was too sick of the whole affair to protest the moderation. I put that sub's posts henceforth on Hide, and I have just about forgotten her name.

(It is uncanny how often the people whose posts I put on Hide somewhat later simply disappear, usually to never be heard from again.)

I second that. We have lost too many who towered above the grey masses already.

I've left this place, sometimes for quite a while, and I've come back, sometimes for quite a while. I've never announced I was leaving, and I've never announced my return. I'm pretty sure my behavior is the norm, and "flouncers" are rare. Not many people need their emotions observed and hopefully validated by the genera public.

whose fault is it if people fall for being baited into getting themselves moderated? and its usually the ones that think themselves so much smarter than everyone else.. I cant help it, I just think its funny.. must be my quirky sense of humor.. I'd rather just watch the show than be part of it..

Have to respectfully disagree, he wanted to be heard and nothing abnormal about that at all. He needed to speak his mind, very normal.

Using FR:

Yeah yeah, in this forum, like all others on the net, there's much flouncing about, and picking up of marbles and running home to mom, and pissing contests and such, and it's not always easy to stay above the fray (though I try.)

I've found the CM forum users to have great humor, advice, research skills, pics and gifs, along with varied and creative brains.

Some dramatic flouncing I can take...though I prefer the flouncer to be wearing chiffon. A personal prejudice, I know.

If you come back Karm, I just want you to know I like you. Your passionate in what you believe, and you stick your neck out and get in drama, and theres a price for that. I do the same! You have heart and empathy and not everyone does, your valuable here I think, so I think you should stay. I for one would miss you, if that counts for anything. I have heard you!!! Either way good luck!

I've never had a problem with the moderation on this site. I usually miss the drama, which makes it hard to judge someone's claims of unfair moderation. I don't know whether Karmastic was treated unfairly or not.

However, there's a difference between seeking attention/validation and lodging a complaint about what you perceive to be a problem. In my opinion, the OP falls into the latter category.

How wildly inefficient!

I handled the problem of "personal attacks" much more directly by wooing poise and UllrsIshtarr into being my protectors. I'm still working on AthenaSurrenders. Why bother the mods when someone can be cut to ribbons so sweetly by any of the terrible trio above :)

As did you !!

It was the swish swish swish of the long silk chiffon skirts we wore as we flounced.

You just can't replicate silk chiffon for a good flounce. It's in the rustling. Some think you can substitute cheap polyester, but really for a subtle yet dramatic flounce, nothing beats real silk.

I agree, it's drama for the sake of drama.
