heh...yeah, I don't think they'd be doing it out of kindness either, peon lol.

I just get the feeling you have quite a few girls, at least here, willing to swoon at your feet.

i recon that financial domination IS legit, however, it is a great set up for fakes.

Also, cm seems to be so FULL of them. The only thing one is allowed to do, is report them as scammers and fakes. i wish that it was possible to mark oneself as a findom or as being interested in it.

Then, we could screen them out if we do not want them.
i find people who wont talk to me unless i give them money, to be rude and more than a little rediculous.

And you honestly expect them to list themselves as such and possibly lose out on business? LOL.

Yeah, eerr....if I was a pro, that's the last thing I would do. I would continue to use my profile as is to rake in business. I think you are very naive if you think that would work.

It IS worth a try AND, it could actually be used by findoms to find business. The subs/slaves who wan that could list themselves and they could more easily find the findoms too.

heh...yeah, ok. Good luck with that. I still don't know a single pro that would do that and lose business but hey whatever.

I have a really important and insightful reply to your comment. However, I'm not going to post it unless you send me a tribute first. My Amazon wish list is posted on my profile.

Now send me money, Pay Piggy!!!!!!!

I just thought of something else. Let's replace money with oh, I dunno.....housecleaning and/or repairs. Would it then be ok if the Dom/mes said they wanted housecleaning/repairs for nothing in return? What's the difference?

BTW, if anyone is interested, I'm not a Domme but I'll be more than happy to fulfill your housecleaning/repair fetish.

Peon, I know you stated you aren't into fin domes, but I was curios to know if you have ever been to a pro domme.

No, the idea doesn't appeal at all, for many reasons. It couldn't work for me.

You may or may not think that this relates (up to you), but I did once visit a prostitute, a long time ago, in Amsterdam. It was dismal. I felt so uncomfortable and awkward that I 'lost interest' within minutes. We ended up comparing life stories. She was a good woman - I liked her.

I would think a visit to a prostitute would be dismal, unless she was bad ass and did magic tricks. Lol but seriously, I can't say bc there may be some that are awesome at what they do. Maybe they totally give the GFE(girl friend experience). The business end is taken care of already I would assume so why not have fun? But if she was a bitch and trying to rush you through things and strictly business then I can understand.

That's like at work sometimes (club), I see dancers being pushy and annoying, begging for tips, even after the customer has bought a dance and spent money. I hate that! Why make their experience shitty. Oh well, that's always good for me. Because I usually end up making the money they would have had they been entertaining and pleasant.

I'm sure that you do know how to be entertaining and pleasant, K - but I knew after that experience that there was nothing that the prostitute could have done to make me feel less awkward. I'm just not one of those people for whom it could ever work.

I honestly can't see why not. Just because it involves money doesn't mean the Dom/Domme isn't in any less control over the sub. If anything, it's a more tangible, complete control.

Hi there ES, thanks for weighing in. I must say your pic with the blue hair is very beautiful. I think that would make a far better pic than the bird flipping one. Just my .

I agree with you on what you said. I find that men often use money as power. So to me, giving up that power as well as the rest, is taking complete control.

You mean like the 'findommes' in this thread are doing while protesting that they're merely here for 'discussion'?

I'm wondering when having tapioca for a brain became a criteria for becoming a moderator.

EmpressSiren,
I don't mean to digress, but I have to agree with TNDommeK. The picture of you with the blue hair, skirt, heels, and riding crop is absolutely lovely. It makes you seem both beautiful and powerful.

IMO, pics of findoms holding a wad of cash or flipping the bird are just silly. They make you look like a cliche. I think many (most?) males will respond better to a woman who is beautiful, yet powerful and commanding (just like the pic referenced earlier).

There have been quite a few threads on here about that exact topic, and most people seem to feel the same way. It's your profile, so you can obviously do whatever you want, but I thought you might want to search for those past threads. Free market research is always a good thing. Also, I'm a male sub, so consider me a focus group of 1.

Good luck.
-Roch

Perhaps it's simply that findomme's are responding to a thread that is relevant to them. Which isn't any different than when someone responds to a thread about needle play or any other kink or topic.

I'm wondering why you can't let this moderation issue be carried out in another thread like has been requested multiple times. It seems that if anyone has tapioca for brains here, it's the person that's just carrying on and on about something that NOBODY else is talking about.

I will most definitely mark myself as a pro and a FinDom! Heck, why wouldn't I? I don't like getting into a great convo to find out the submissive doesn't share a financial kink. There is no business to lose out on if the submissive has no intention of playing with FinDom in the first place. Are people suggesting that people with a financial kink are not interested in real, meaningful discussion about bdsm? 90% of what I do is bdsm related and I have many bdsm kinks as well. Yes, FinDoms are real people with real interests. Just because one aspect of that is offensive to some people doesn't mean we are made of straw and mud. My only goal on collarme is to learn and gain perspective and maybe share some. I can honestly say that only once has a person contacted me here that we developed a long lasting (still to this day) D/s Femdom relationship with some gifts involved. I can guarantee you right now barely anyone is cashing in on this site. CM does not cater to it, so why would anyone make a bunch of money off it under the guise of FinDom? It's hard enough out there on real FinDom sites. Maybe everyone will sleep a little better knowing that most FinDoms on here aren't making shit and yes there are some like Myself who peruse the forums in my free time rather than message potential subs. I have only ever messages one person on this site on my own volition and he is part of this thread. I find it highly distasteful to use any site not geared toward FinDom for pay slave fishing. It just doesn't work and its disrespectful. Do I have the right to exist and share My kinks, and to allow anyone to message Me of their own free will? Yes I do. I am sorry there are a bunch of shit FinDoms on here but when I see "old creepy man seeks barely legal girl to live in my basement dungeon for strenuous torture" my eyebrow raises too. There is no need to get into a moral debate about specific kinks when on both sides of the spectrum there is trash and people mocking a very real lifestyle. My kink list is a mile long, and financial domination happens to be on the top. Does that make my own kinks less valid or desirable? Nope. No one is stealing anyone from anybody, no one is forcing anyone to pay anything to anyone. It just can't happen. These are adults making adult decisions. No one FinDom is to blame any more than the finsubs who offers. I am a real kinkster with knowledge to give. All I'm asking for is a chance and to not be dubbed scum of the earth because my kink is less desirable than yours. It's wrong and pigheaded. I am also in favor of having a FinDom option to check. I would be very happy if people not interested in Me could filter Myself out. It would save us all a lot of trouble!

I liked what you said, but I must say, I do pretty well off this site as far as being a fin/pro goes.
You said "adults making adult decisions" ....I like that.

OK let me answer this seems as I have been doing this form of D/s for over 24 years now. There are a lot of people that call themselves Fin Dommes who are nothing but money grabbing lil whores who want to do nothing else than take ever penny any man comes to them with then dump them like a piece of trash. I personally think this type of Fin Domme needs to be exposed and treated like a plague victim as they are a disease and give legit Fin Dommes a very bad rap. Here is what I do personally.

1) Take a reasonable and sustainable tribute that reflects the amount of time the Fin Domme is willing to spend with the slave

2) Make yourself availble for the slave on a personal level for a minimum of the agreed time but more if possible

3) Make it possible for the slave to be able to see and talk daily with you in a group setting in audio and video chat with no exceptions

4) Never take anyone who has a kink that you do not like doing as it is not about just collecting money the Fin Domme has to enjoy it to

5) Post regular pictures and videos about your life, make the slave part of your exsistance as they crave to

Now the simple fact is I always make sure that my slaves, even the online ones, have an actual chance to meet me in person at some point, if they are worshiping you as a Goddess then they deserve to meet you. They have to earn it of course and make it happen themselves, I personally get a limo and first class train journey to where I am going and so on but I do meet them.

Now I had 3 Fin Slaves for the last 10 years the last one died last year RIP my snuggle bunny, so yes now I look for more. But let me tell you why. I may be a Fin Domme but I only look for real slaves and a real slave owns nothing. But this is 2013 and of course we have to bend a little. Personally I have only ever found 2 real slaves my entire career and I loved them both dearly and looked after and cared for them. On here I find a load of people who want only to perv and be told what to do and give nothing back. I hate to say this boys and girls but if I wanted to see a penis i would just go to Google video and bean flick over porn for a while as it would be more interesting. I dont actually need to call myself a Fin Domme as the truth is I am just a Domme but I am a full time Domme that spends many hours every day with my slaves and I could not do that if I worked. I use the term Fin Domme as a catalyst to see what people say as then they know they must support me.

Sex is not something I do, loses me a lot of slaves it seems as today slaves seem to think they can tell me what I have to do to keep them. Its amusing. But hey its the 21st century and it happens. Anyways thats how I do it. So hope this clears up a few things for you all.
