I accidentally bought my Husband a ten-foot long whip. In my defence, he told me he wanted a carriage whip. It turns out, what he really wanted was a dressage whip, which is like a 3ft long riding crop with a stringy bit on the end. I know you are all impressed with my technical knowledge and therefore amazed I made a mistake. I looked them up online, and a carriage whip looked just the same only with a much longer stringy 'tail' part. So I ordered both. Anyway, when the package arrived and was taller than me, I suspected that may be a bad omen. Well it didn't look ten feet long in the picture.

LOL!! I gave away my dressage whip years ago and never replaced it. It was such a fun thing, not sure why I never bothered. Can you return it? Or are you just going to learn to handle a coach & four? [:D]

I probably can return it, though I don't relish the trip to the post office. Even the dressage whip looks seriously vicious, and I hate hate hate the riding crop so I know it will be suffering for me. But his eyes were lighting up when he gave it a practice swish, I have a feeling I'll be getting to know it intimately.

Do you have a really really big back garden? Throwing a carriage whip takes practice, though it's not as hard to deal with as a bullwhip, I don't think. The dressage whip is snappy like a heavy singletail, not like a riding crop. Um. Worse, actually, if stingy is an issue... sorry. [&o]

Haha no our big garden is fairly small and somewhat overlooked by the neighbours... unfortunately. I have resigned myself to the awfulness. Is there a pill I can take to make me a hardcore masochist?

Alas, masochism is a mystery. Or a mental state? Iono. I have these memories of having so much fun bottoming... but if it was that much fun, wouldn't I have done it in the past 13 years? Or is it just that my circle of playmates that I trusted is gone? Have you tried laughing? I'm a laugher.

I sometimes play with a good friend of Master and myself at a play party we go to every month. As soon as people hear he's about to play me, they get seats. Not because he's a meanie and makes me cry, but because I can't resist playing to the crowd. Last time, he was using a single tail on me and concentrating on making pretty patterns on my butt, when I broke into 'happy birthday'. Then told a bad joke. The crowd loved it! Even my friend was laughing. For a while. It's lucky I'm a masochist...[:D]

It's not a novelty to be a femdom anymore. WAYYYY back when, I was at a Fallopia party in Chicago and a female friend and I were topping a third female friend. We were paying attention to our playmate, lalala, and not paying attention to our surroundings. There was a CROWD watching us. A hundred people. o.O Yeah....

I don't think there's a magic masochism pill. If it helps, do you know how to do deep, meditative type breathing? If you breath through the pain it will help relax you & your muscles and hopefully make it slightly easier to handle. That is an amusing mistake though. [:D]
