A Washington post article noted how many of the Republican speakers were barely mentioning Mitt Romney at all while talking on about themselves.

Regarding Christie's speech, an old adage was noted:

Me first, party second, country third.

Christie wants to run in 2016. For that to happen, Romney has to lose this time around.

I hope it does happen. Christie will be a much better president than Romney could hope ever being. I don't even know who the democratic candidate would hope to be in 2016 but I'm already giving Christie a serious look.
