What movie scenes rank as your all-time favorites? Comedy, drama, horror, as many as you want. A couple of comedy ones from me.... From Young Frankenstein........ after Madeline Kahn has sex with the Monster (Peter Boyle)... "Oh. Where you going?... Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Oh... I think I love him. " From Airplane!......... Lloyd Bridges' character, an air traffic controller, going from "I guess I picked the wrong week to give up cigarettes" to "I guess I picked the wrong week to give up sniffing glue". .... lmao.....

Rocky Horror Picture Show: Franknfurter coming down in the elevator with that big shoe stomping as it descends. Antici...................pation! There are lots more, but I can't think of them right now.

In the aptly-named Female Vampire, the, well, female vampire slinks up seductively to the camera and somehow manages to accidentally bonk her head on the lens. In The Wizard of Oz, you can see the Tinman untie the balloon just before the Wizard flies off...damn Tinman, I knew I couldn't trust him.

Two famously "bad" movies that are really very good: Bordello of Blood -- the "kill the vamps with holy water loaded into supersoakers" scene (Hey, I'm not making this up, people) done to the tune "Ballroom Blitz" and.... Almost any scene from "Con Air", a truly dumb film with several absolutely perfect performances. Among my favorite scenes: "If you shoot me, who will fly the plane?" "I don't know, I never think that far ahead." If you've never seen Con Air, you owe it to yourself to get it, pop in the DVD (on a big screen preferably) and just enjoy. E.

Oh... I have several... boy... I will have to post multiple times. To Kill A Mockingbird: When Atticus Finch is leaving the courtroom and all the black people in the balcony stand up in respect. His housekeeper (a delightful black woman) turns to Atticus' daughter and says, "Stand up Miss Jean Louise, your Daddy is passing by." Good Morning Vietnam: The scene where Robin Williams plays Louis Armstrong's It's A Wonderful World Uncle Buck: Pretty much the entire movie, but the scene that gets me really choked up is the last frame of the movie when John Candy is waving goodbye to his family and they freeze the picture on that. It was only a few years later that he died. Saving Private Ryan: I don't want to say that the opening 20 minutes of the film are my favorite, but I had to do a college English term paper on D-Day and I interviewed several WW2 vets and the horror that they describes matches what is in those 20 minutes. Brutal but truly a classic scene. Tomb Raider: The scene with Angelina Jolie in the shower. Das Boot: The scene where the sub is on the ocean floor and you can hear the water pressure stressing the hull and then the rivets begin to explode. The looks exchanged between the actors is wonderful. Cinema Paradesio (I think that is the spelling): The entire movie is simply a classic. But the most touching scene in the film is where the main character opens the box that his friend sent him. I can't say what is inside the box without ruining the ending so... let's just say, if you haven't cried by then, that will send you over the edge. I watch that film with a lump in my throat. Caddyshack: A total classic, but who can argue that the gopher didn't steal the movie? Saw: The scene where Amanda has the trap wired into her mouth. That one sent chills through me. Goodfellas: The scene where Joe Pesci realizes that he is going to get whacked. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: The gunfight scene at the end. Spaghetti Westerns at their finest! The Ring: When they realize at the end what went wrong. Titanic: When Leonardo DeCaprio dies. Best scene in the movie. I do not like old Lenny. Hostle: The part where I returned the DVD to the rental place. Best scene I can think of. My Cousin Vinnie: Judge: I'm going to hold you in contempt of court. Vinnie: Yeah, THERE'S a fucking surprise. OK... that's enough for now. I will be back with more.

Totally agree, Gauge, and I love the ending too, where Ryan asks, "Am I a good man??".... if I watch this scene with someone, they better have Kleenex on hand, or I'll be blowing my nose on their shirt sleeve. Loose Cannons - The Scene with Dan Akroyd and Gene Hackman driving and Akroyd turns into ''Ricky Rudd'' as one of his many split-personalities Star Wars - A New Hope - The light saber dual at the end of the movie between Maul and Obi wahn. - Next to Vader... I still say Maul was the best Sith. God Father II - The scene where Brando is counseling Pacino with Robert Duvall sitting in. Brando tells Pacino : "Remember....Your enemies will come to you with smiles on the their faces.'' Alien I - The scene where there crawling through the air ducts looking for the Alien and one of the cohorts tells him through the two-way radio to be careful because the Alien is very close -- Then you see the Alien -- That movie was a classic Nightmare on Elmstreet - The scene where Freddy is walking down the alley and his arms are super long. Man... That was freaky. Not to mention... all the one liner's were hella funny. Random Hearts - I duuno.... for some reason I really liked this movie. I thought Kristin Scott Thomas as Harrison Ford paired up well. Carlito's Way - John Leguizamo's portrayal of '' Benny Blanco'' was awesome - Sean Penn , Pacino and Luis Guzman were also awesome in this movie The Game - Michael Douglass, Penn and especially Deborah Kara Unger were awesome in this movie - The plot was awesome and carried out well, all the way down to the last scenes. - R

Movie Scenes: The Crow - When Eric falls from the roof and you hear the sigh as he falls. The Crow - When Eric is confronting Gideon, throwing the rings at him, telling him that each and every ring is a life he helped destroy. Victor/Victoria - When Robert Preston is performing at the end of the movie and the set dancers let him fall on the ground. He just looks up and says, "You bitches." Varisty Blues - When Mox and Tweeder are talking during practice about how to get a girl out of her clothes and Tweeder finishes his speech about panties just falling off, then looks at Mox and says, "What?" There are a few others, but none really spring to mind at the moment.
