Ain't it amazing how Bush got crucified because he didn't visit New Orleans in the wake of hurricane Katrina, but mum's the word on Obama taking it easy today, and showing his thin skin by tweeting a picture of him guarding his chair from an 82 year old actor?

Romney tours Issac devistation

President Obama's schedule today

Wow, he flies right over New Orleans, but can't take the time to stop and make a statement. Heck of a job there, Obama.

Not too bad, he will be there monday, since jindal invited willardy today.   Don't know what willards leading on, he cant do shit about it, and obama can and will.

I expect while efforts are in their early stages, it is a piss poor time for obama to be there with all the fire and police and emt being overburdened already.

So, willard is deeply superficial on this one.

Well, W was in the negative range on the superficial, the horsewhisperer didn't have the job skills to rope the hurricane damage.

Wait? What? You mean Romney sent FEMA to NO? Romney has ordered and set into place the infrastructure so that the evacuation and searches for survivors were planned and well coordinated? Romney has been working with Jindal and local government officials to see that LA citizens were receiving the care and resources they need?

I don't think so.

Romney is using a natural disaster to stroll for votes.
It is nothing short of disgusting.

I heard that the Eastwood empty chair now leads Romney in the latest polls by 24%...Seems the Republican 's prefer something capable of a firm stance on something...

Lucylastic -> RE: While Obama guards his chair Romney is out leading (9/1/2012 5:49:50 AM)

Romney and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) spent close to an hour meeting with first responders and local officials. Romney shook hands with National Guardsmen outside the U.S. Post Office and talked with a local resident, Jodie Chiarello, 42, who lost her home in Isaac's flooding.

"He just told me to, um, there's assistance out there," Chiarello said of her conversation with Romney. "He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.
