You might have noticed all the women in key roles during the GNC, some as Governers and other key Government positions of great power an influence. So, you might wonder how MSNBC spins this. I saw the spin today and it was, well, here it is: Although the Republicans do indeed have women in control of key Government positions they (the Republicans) are only interested in controling women's bodies and not in controlling their influence.

Well of course. Makes perfect sense. The GOP women in power want to control their sisters bodies and their "health". It must be why they are Governors and Senators and he amazing Secretary of State under Bush2. I see the light, I see the truth now and it is the Left, when confronted with reality, are extremely creative in reinterpreting that reality so it matches their fantasy.

And that makes sense really. Creativity and acting out their own reality is part and parcel of a left thinking person. Take Obama and his goal of reducing the ocean level and saving the planet, great stuff for a late night movie, and his positive view of his record and that the middle class are just fine and government builds small business. For us who live in the real world, we know that controlling one woman's body is impossible in reality much less controlling a whole nation full of independent and highly intelligent women.

So. If nothing else, one can turn to MSNBC and the DNC next week for some real disconnect with reality and it won't even be hard to discern; If they are talking they are verberlizing an alternate world where an evil party controls millions of women's health and bodies by withholding nine dollar contraceptives or preventing the murder of non-human somethings that are the product of "freedom" and "women's rights" exercized after a long night supporting the right of a man to not wear condoms, apparently.

Wattaminute.That's not women's rights. That's insanity and I don't think American women are insane even though Obama does.

Which makes me wonder if the typo wasn't a great improvement.  What about those GNC women?  Are they active do-ers, who want to be better, and stronger, and faster, and hotter looking?  People who understand that is their personal hard work that makes achievement happen?  Or are they just stupid cows of the herd, thinking that thin and fit and healthy comes in a pill, and when the pill in one attactive package doesn't work, they'll move right along to something else?

Either way, the President has reason to worry about the votes of the women in the GNC.  [;)]

You would think so.

The RNC, even the women, are adamant about controlling what happens to a woman's body, legislating that all women who become pregnant will carry that pregnancy to term.

The women of the RNC, many of them in the House and Senate in '09, voted against equal pay for women.

The women of the RNC cheers on women who chose to be stay at home moms but only if they are lucky enough to marry men who can support a family. Any other women, women who have to work to support their families--well they're just out of luck and have no choice and as Ann Romney said, (to paraphrase) "it's a good thing that some women don't have a choice".

And women on the left are so adamant to vote against the right wing, they're willing to sell out their whole body to government run health care... But I guess those abortions and free birth control pills are more important than the other female health issues the government will be regulating if Obama is reelected.

What government run health care??

I have blue cross/blue shield and there are plans for my agency to be dropping that coverage. And yes, BC/BS pays for my pap smears with no deductible. The pay for my breast exams--no deductible. They also pay annual cholesterol test and other preventative tests--no deductible.

Want to know what the male policy holders get? Annual prostrate exams. With no deductible.

My daughter also BC/BS. She doesn't pay a deductible for her birth control, so there is less of a likelihood of her and my son-in-law having another child before they are ready for a second child. They also don't pay a deductible for my grand daughter's well baby visits.

Oh. And my son is disabled. He's on medicaid and medicare (he got the medicare through his father's social security) He also has Select Blue from BC/BS. So I guess, yes, my son is on government run health care.

And the no deductible for preventative exams through BC/BS started prior to that part of the ACA coming online.
