(NEWSER) – Mitt Romney has another opponent to worry about—and she's only six years old. Wednesday night's episode of TLC reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo pulled in almost 3 million viewers, scoring a 1.3 rating among viewers 18-49—more than any other cable show that evening in that demo, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Fox News came close with a 1.2 rating, but on the networks, Honey Boo Boo beat out ABC and CBS' combined RNC ratings and slipped just ahead of NBC.

Gawd, don't you love it?

This is so funny!!

Headline should have read:

Romney gets beat ratings by redneck child pageant queen.

I say it says a lot about your average American... It's no wonder this nation is in such deep shit.

Whereas you may think it's funny, I think it's a sad statement on the country and pathetic.

thishereboi -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/1/2012 4:07:26 AM)

I guess the liberals needed something to watch while the right had their convention. So what's your point?

Lucylastic -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/1/2012 6:12:53 AM)

Its pretty obvious just in this forum, that mostly libs were watching your convention.
bad guess

Musicmystery -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/1/2012 6:58:03 AM)

I'd say it's obvious neither the OP or the posters read the very short article beyond the headline -- again.

Or you'd have seen this: "Combine all the networks, of course, and the RNC easily took the ratings crown."

In other words, this article and the claim are crap.

All three major networks and CNN to beat one cable reality show? Do any of you tinfoil-hatters smell a conspiracy here?

Honey Boo Boo? Sounds like a porno or something.

Lucylastic -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/1/2012 7:05:35 PM)

Its supposed to be a reality show of about a "Take an inside look into life with "Honey Boo Boo" where the six-year-old pageant sensation "
shudders

Oh for fuck's sake. People tune in for the same thing, and it doesn't matter which network.

Actually it does. Go to FOX News for the Pro-GOP propoganda material. Go to anyone else for a mostly unbiased view on things.

It was a joke ffs

And I have noticed a lot of liberals on here have watched it. Not sure why they would waste their time though. It is pretty obvious they already know who they are going to vote for so the only reason I can think of that they would do it is so they can make fun of someone later here on the forums. I don't that makes the little trolls feel better about themselves. Personally unless I am interested in a show i will not waste time watching it.

DaddySatyr -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/2/2012 4:22:22 AM)

I think it's fairly obvious that lefties out-number others on these forums by at least a 2:1 ratio. By definition, that means more of them are watching the convention, just so that they can mock, debase, twist words, and try to update their talking points.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

kalikshama -> RE: Radical Convention Coverage Gets Trashed By 6 Year Old (9/2/2012 5:17:00 AM)

But when non-lefties seek insight into the thought processes of their political opponents there are higher motives?

Tsun Tzu warned us: "Know your enemy and know yourself and in 100 battles, you will never be in peril" Sorkin was an absolute, dyed-in-the-wool, pablum-puking, bleeding heart liberal (who had a tendency to co-opt certain conservative points of view, when it suited him). He is a "Hollywood darling" and the show gives a great insight into the thought process of the lefties.

Context. The claim is that a single cable show topped the convention. It didn't. And for disputing that bit of silliness, no, it doesn't matter that viewers had a preference which network. They were watching the damn convention.

well FFS its called furthering ones desire for knowledge, to be able to dicsuss on a different level, with knowledge of what was said and not following soundbites, heresay, or bullshit. Its being able to refute with fact, its being able to respond and thinking outside what you are "told"

[:D]
BUT best of all , Its always good for a laugh and ability to piss of morons who DO buy into the bullshit
