Hi am looking to sell my very extensive collection of BDSM gear, ranging from violet wand, clamps floggers canes whips, etc, The big question is, how do i do this, its not the sort of items you can post on your ebay account!!!
Any ideas would be most welcome. Spent thousands on this gear and hoping to get a little back from it.

Are you really quite sure that you want to do that? None of your pieces speak to you?

As a leather person, I may feel the inclination, but I could never go through with it.

Garage sale poster on a telephone pole at the end of your street. I live by a church so I figured I could the whole load on the clergy when they see the sign.

There are many buy/sell groups on Fetlife.

Are you sure you want to get rid of it all? Iqve thinned my collection dramatically, but how hard is it to just store your favourite pieces?

You can post kink gear on eBay. They have an adult section just for that.

I don't know the OP's situation but I had gear (dungeon furniture) for a poly family. When I was moving to the small house in Dayton Beach, I had 4 benches, 2 crosses, 2 big steel cages, waxing table, suspension frame, stocks and corner cell. Some of that stuff got sold to the public dungeon (Master's Quest), some was given away, some sold cheap. Only kept 1 cross and 1 cage.

However, as you mentioned, I packed up air tight and stored 177 pieces of my fav portable BDSM gear.

After several years building up a vast collection, i now come to point of it taking over my home !!! There are several pieces that i wont part with, a very soft velvet like flogger that sends you to the ends of the earth and back, smiles.......
However i need to minimize my collection to a more realistic level.

At the Sarasota Society (BDSM group) we had auctions when people sold of a collection. They went so well, out of towners came there to have auctions fro charity etc. Maybe your local group would be a good outlet?

Ebay currently has 73 violet wands on offer.... I suppose you MIGHT want a new account if anonymity matters...

As an aside, some things I would and have bought from ebay. Others I would only buy new, but that's just me...

Yes they do, thanks to 50 Shades!!
A year ago I tried selling a few rubber masks, a human pony harness and an elephant whip. Someone reported me and I got my items removed. If you put the words BDSM into ebay search now, it will come up with thousands of stuff.

I sold a lot of stuff last year and the way I did it was to run a stall for one month at our local fetish fair.

If you look on the CM boards under "All Forums," you'll see one entitled, "Sought or For Sale," specifically for those two purposes. You can post any BDSM gear you want to sell there.
