Looks like he won't, cause he don't seem to know what it is.  The other possibility is you could be ransomed for livestock.  How many goats?  And who keeps track of them to make sure they aren't used by the wedding guests for immoral purposes.

OR, perhaps you could be ransomed for a pair of mating/mated elephants?

I've always wondered--was the purpose (a) to get to fuck all the pretty girls on the manor; (b) to humiliate all the males on the manor; (c) to Darwinize the other males by having their wives bear your children before theirs; or (d) all of the above?
