Limbaugh claims that the heat index is a liberal conspiracy.

Nope. I don't listen to him and I see no reason to read an article about something that he said. The other half does listen to him sometimes. From what he has said, not everything that Rush says is serious. I have no desire to delve into the context and either read or listen to the entire monologue.

Besides, he is obviously wrong. Everyone knows that it is the reduction in the number of pirates that has caused the increase in natural disasters. http://www.venganza.org/about/open-letter/

I will say this though....here you are on a Rush thread,but you state you don't listen to him and you won't read a linked article having to do with the OP.yet here you are.
Baffling to say the least.
Now throw in some nonsense about Pirates(The Pittsburgh Pirates will,sadly,fail to make the playoffs this year....but in a sign of hope should finish with a winning record for the first time in 19 or so years ),which I will not bother to read(fair is fair) and my confusion is quite understandable

Okay. . . I think that any conspiracy theory about Mr. Obama telling the national weather service to lie about Hurrican/Tropical Storm Issac in order to affect the RNC is about as sensible as those that blamed Karl Rove's weather machine for Hurricane Katrina.

I have no idea if Rush was being serious or not in that monologue. I do not really care either. It is just a silly idea. Can you even imagine the number of people that would have to be brought in on such a conspiracy?

The pirate thing is because of the heat index conspiracy. Have you heard about the Flying Spaghetti Monster? If you click on the link I gave, you can read the Open Letter to the Kansas School Board. That is where it started.

It is the silly season until November.

And no, I am not going to research silly conspiracy theories. Furthermore, Rush is a big boy, if he was making a joke he does not need me to defend him.

If you ask me, and I know nobody did, the RNC was the best thing that could have happened to Obama's campaign. It was like pre-packaged campaign ad material. Honestly, The Daily Show has basically done a full blown job of producing ready made commercials. The campaign should simply license 30 to 60 second pieces of the show's RNC coverage, and keep airing it!

What I found so impressive about the RNC Convention was....they were so efficient, they were able to get done in 3 days, what everyone assumed would take 4.

When pressed for solutions....Republicans find them :)
