I'm pretty sure the idea was not to sew them up, but to leave them open.... but I would have thought that he'd want to discourage subs from fiddling around as opposed to encouraging easy access.

I guess it could have been to do with making it impossible to carry things though.

It could have been for him to have the easy access. Some people aren't into chastity devices. They prefer simply telling the sub not to touch.

I don't know what it's for, but I find it hilarious! I never use My pockets on My pants- actually most of My dress pants come with the pockets sewed closed and I just leave them that way. But, on a guy- they rely so much on their pockets. I think it would be funny! Ummm- gathering ideas! LOL...

I did once get a pair of second hand jeans that were like new.. and found the pockets were cut out.. now I am laughing and thinking about who might of owned them..lol
