Status: offline 		I'm pretty sure the idea was not to sew them up, but to leave them open.... but I would have thought that he'd want to discourage subs from fiddling around as opposed to encouraging easy access.

I guess it could have been to do with making it impossible to carry things though.

I don't know what it's for, but I find it hilarious! I never use My pockets on My pants- actually most of My dress pants come with the pockets sewed closed and I just leave them that way. But, on a guy- they rely so much on their pockets. I think it would be funny! Ummm- gathering ideas! LOL...
