Welcome to the discussion side of things. If you are looking to meet people in your area you might be better off on fetlife, and search for Ottawa. Just let us know if you run into Harper or Oda!

I"m on "fetlife" and the difficulty there is their search parameters are not as defined as they are here so I'd have to search through over 300 pages of members. The extra frustration there is that you can only search 20-30pages at a time and when you go back, the pages have been randomized so, you'd basically have to start all over again. That is one of the main reasons why I thought I might have better luck here than at fetlife. Take care and thank you for your prompt and constructive reply.

Okay. If you go to fetlife and type Ottawa into the search box, it will come up with a list of pages and pages of kinksters. But if you look carefully at the page, you will see a tab for "Events". There are 17 listed. You should be able to find a get together that suits your availability.

Trust me, I'm watching the "Events Near Me" like a horny hawk but not all of the transgendered girls go to these events and at times there are more than one going on at the same time but they're not transgendered specific events. Don't worry, I've checked fetlife out very carefully. I'm going to be writing to the creator of "fetlife" and suggest that they clarify their search parameters so people like me can find what their looking for easier. The same would apply for those into "SM" or "BDSM" or whatever their fetish might be. Thank you for trying....

Fetlife doesn't have those parameters because the creator does not want it to be a hookup site. In the meantime, welcome to the forums.

Very good point "BUT"...when you have a fetish site like that, searching for those that share your same "fetish" would be a logical step, correct. Example: If you were to do a search at fetlife, you'd be looking for those into "Leather" and "Subs" and/or "Slaves" correct? You would not be interested in those whom are into "water sports" or "Pony Play" just to name a few. I have a fetish for transgendered women and when I do a search, I would like the option to search for my particular fetish and not for those into "SM" and/or "Leather". I understand and respect their desire for it not to be a dating site but "sex" will always be a factor in any kind of fetish.... Thank you for your constructive reply
