FMRFGOPGAL -> RE: Arrests Made In Libya Attack..... (9/14/2012 8:16:19 AM)

Well, at least you're not breaking the news to a couple of American families a loved one is dead or in jeopardy, like you know who did the other night.
Thank goodness we have a President who keeps his big mouth shut till boots are on the ground and they at least have some idea of WTF is going on.

FMRFGOPGAL -> RE: Arrests Made In Libya Attack..... (9/14/2012 9:02:03 AM)

Well... Let's review:
1)President Obama didn't seize on some "opportunity" and was even willing to take hits politically by INCOMPETENTS both public and private, in the interest of responding to this attack in an effective or sober way.

2)We now know Benghazi is under a security lockdown and that it will be difficult for the perpetrators to leave the country, which will obviously start whomever is offering them safe haven sweating.

3)Congressional Republicans again look like assholes who doesn't have America's back (what else is new?). Perhaps the should have placed a call to the President they want so badly to sabotage before hopping in front of the cameras.

3)The culprits are being rounded up. Expect drones, or even nastier, the Marine Counter-Terrorism Team to pay those who can't bring themselves to surrender and confess their complicity in the attack.

4)Mitt Romney maintains his status as an out of touch, poorly advised, reactionary, disingenuous fake, WHO JUST WANTS to be President.

The general reason for attacks can be attributed to Obama regime tactics in the Middle East and North Africa.
It is known fact in Libya the US brought in, paid, and provided weapons to Islamic "terrorist" fighters incl. Al Qaeda (that is loosely connected to CIA). This was the only way to overthrow Qaddafi without US ground forces. They try the same tactics in Syria.
It appears there are negative consequences to deal with. So, the ambassador should be considered a collateral damage and the incident should be played down in order to avoid shifting balances of power. Proxy wars are always risky operations, the main question is how to gain and maintain control after the "proxies" do the dirty work.Dealing with the incident as a common crime where "the criminals" can be found and prosecuted is just for fooling the public.

Nice Op-Ed, now display any factual evidence you have to back up what you say.....

Should be interesting....

FR

If all this can be achieved by all those very stupid people in western intelligence services merely sitting on their buts and twiddling their thumbs, imagine what miracles they might achieve when one of them either learned to count on his fingers or got of his but: within ten days he could conquer and rule the whole world! Slight error. That was Reagan who armed the mujhadeen (which since morphed to AQ), while they were opposing Russia. Not Obama at all. Easy mistake to make.

I take no positions in this matter. My proxy war comment is widely known fact, impossible to deny. Any google search around these keywords gives you hundred thousand links for support of the argument. Leftist website globalresearch.ca perhaps has the most complete collection of observations. Here is their latest headline:

It's on teh interwebz, it must be true.[8|]

SilverMark -> RE: Arrests Made In Libya Attack..... (9/15/2012 9:36:54 AM)

More op-ed only a different source than your own opinion. Your source does as you do, and makes unsubstantiated claims based on extrapolation and little else.

Nothing in the way of proof as to your points, no "smoking gun" no proof of the use of American arms, which if true would be quite evident, no funding trail to follow.

When the US government does try to do such things surreptitiously, they do it poorly and there is always a money trail, see Iran/Contra, secret bombings(not so secret and quickly discovered) in SE Asia, see the most recent case in Mexico with guns being sold as part of a sting attempt to the cartels.

I appreciate you giving the government credit for their abilities, but they are, as they have always been piss poor at hiding such things.

It is you who are their long awaited savior! Simply tell them that you have come to show them how it ought to be done. I am sure that they - being themselves so extremely mentally handicapped - will receive any competent man such as yourself with open arms. To the rescue! Save us and our civilization!
