Status: offline 		funny story - when I was 16 anbd pregnant with my first child, I was in a boarding school for teenaged pregnant girls. The director was giving sex ed class on Fridays during the summer (Planned Parenthood came and gave it during the school year), and she read an article about the median age at which girls lose their virginity (14, back then - for all our talk about girls growing up to soon, it hasn't changed) and the average number of partners they'd had by 18, and she was curious how 'her' girls measured up to the non-pregnant norm. so she did an annyomous poll one friday. I blythly wrote that I had had around 80 partners. I was shocked when I found out no one else had had over like 5! I was completely unaware that my sexual behavoir was out of the norm!

I've become a LOT picker since then, btw.

Status: offline 		Those poor people who have had 6, 7, 8, 9, 31, 32, 33, 34, 51, 52, 53, or 54 partners have nowhere to put their answer.

Anyhow, it may be a bit strange for a 38-year-old polyamorous atheist pervert, but I can count my sexual partners on one hand. Either I'm really ugly, or I have no "game", or I'm picky about who I penetrate. ;)

In the interest of the gene pools of populations and their degree of civilization I am opposed to both total monogamy and to indiscriminate sexual intercourse.

I discriminate between lust driven sexual intercourse, which is characteristic of animals; and love driven sexual intercourse, which is characteristic of people who are evolved further from the animal status - and which might be argued to be of a divine nature.

Populations and their gene pools - and families - are best served when the married man is not adulterous and turns a blind eye when his wife - in say ten percent of the marriages - due to Divine intervention is love driven adulterous, as it are the sexually selective females who drive the evolution of a population from animal status to the status of civilized beings, and who promote the health of their gene pool.

And 'partners' means you give AND get orgasms, so hopefully those numbers stay the same.
