Ok, I've got a new Wifi laptop. Before I got it, it seemed like there were 20 million websites on wifi software, wifi tech, how cool it was, wardriving and on and on till the break of dawn.

Now I find old broken websites, shady hacker sites that scare the crap out of me and sites that are about smart phones.

Anyone who has wifi computers have a favorite website, tip, trick etc that I or others might enjoy?

Also I am running a HP 2140 Netbook mini. Which has the 54mm Express card, Does anyone else out there have a 2140 Mini have you tried using one of those TV tuner cards? Oh and the netbook has windows 7 on it.

I was thinking about getting one of those express cards but was wondering if it was worth it or should I go with a USB tv tuner?

What exactly are you trying to do with it that requires that kind of info?

Most of the neat tips/tricks are ways to use tools to find/break into wifi networks.

If you're just trying to set one up for yourself. Just get a network card and wireless router that supports WPA2 and you're about as good as you will get with consumer devices.

As for the TV tuner.. depends what you want to do with it. I personally find them useless, but if it does what you want they tend to work reasonably well. You'd need to look at reviews to see which ones are actually decent however.
