I first joined this site with a virgin mind thinking that every one here is real. Why would some one lie about who they are when it comes to this lifestyle that is so real for a lot of people?

Well after getting fucked over multiple times i am starting to think that i am better off going to 7 11 and holding a sign up and i would have a better chance of finding some one!

I guess if you old and want to act like a young girl and go to these EXTREME circumstances to act like you are some one you are not, what ever it must be on your bucket list!

I am going to step of my soap box now, thanks!

Hairlover. Learn to think with your big head.
This place is just like any place else. There's cool people and there's scammers and there's idiots. Kick back, take a deep breath and relax. Remember the old adage. If it looks too good to be true, it is.

This place isn't instaBDSM. It's like anyplace else. You're going to have to take your time and get to know folks. Beware Sub or Dom frenzy. That's where a noob goes crazy and falls in 'love' with the first person that says "hi".

There are good folk here but they tend to take it slow.

One last thing. You only need one good person. That said, does it make sense to worry about "all the bazillions of fakes"?
Don't worry about them. Ignore em. The only thing that obsessing about "fakes" does is fuck with your blood pressure.

Relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. There's a person out there for you. dont get so wrung out on the ones who AREN'T for you that you miss them.

My ratio of "reals" to "fakes"-
any multiple of 1: any multiple of zero.

If one is desperate and not patient then "fakes" are aplenty.

Look through the profiles here with discernment.
The "fakes" are pretty easy to spot but in case you tend to miss them, take things much slower.
"Fakes" are impatient.
Do not emotionally invest with anyone you have not met face to face.
That does exclude long distant and on-line relationships.
Be wary of instant anything.

I joined here in June 2007.
[My] One found me here January 2009.
We are still together.
Do the math.

Osidegirl...Do you really need to take time out of your day to make other people that are already discouraged about things, feel even worse about speaking their mind??

Thank you others for the positive responses i appreciate it!

Christ on a stick boy!

Say it with me........."THIS IS THE INTERNET! PEOPLE LIE, PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET LIE, SUCH IS LIFE"

Now go take a valium and come back in the morning and tell us why your little diatribe up there was really really silly.

And a damned beautiful one!

I've been wanting that moon/ship photo hanging on my wall since I first saw it.

We will only accept your apology if you cease whining.

Come on, CB you of all people should know you can't blame everyone else for your personal negligence when it comes to picking a partner!

OP,
It's not the fault of the community for not knowing you needed to be warned without you saying, nor the fault of the scammer/fake/whatever that you fell for their tricks and wiles, only the frenzied equivalent of a libido that gets you to forget that whatever the circumstance, you're still meeting a complete anonymous stranger and are under no obligations to believe a word they say until you've proven it for yourself.

Contrary to TV, just because you want to believe in something doesn't mean the universe is gonna give it to you on a plate lol

ETA: oh, and as a word of friendly advice, whining about falling for a "fake" is unattractive to most Dommes, though the reasons it's unattractive varies between us. Some of us just don't like being bombarded with uninvited negativity. Some of us dislike whining. Mostly the consensus is whining about it makes you look EXTREMELY immature and we tend not to like immature :)
