If you had some kind of surgery when you were born to change some kind of female organ then I would think that your current doctor would be able to determine even without your medical records. there would be some kind of scarring or surgical marks or lowered chemicals in your system that can determine that. I dunno. That would be my thought though.

As for the testosterone, I'm thinking the doctor does consider you a male with Klinefelters. Did you tell him what your mother told you? I would say the dr wants to give you testosterone not just so that you will develop normally as a male but also that maybe you have other lowered chemicals in your endocrine system? I'm not a doctor and I really don't know anything or anyone with Klinefelters. I'm only going by what I read online and from my biology class where we had to learn about chromosomal irregularities.

I think you should do some more talking to your doctor or maybe find another that is a specialist that can give you another view.

Just because I'm very late to this thread let me catch up: XXY, possibly mis-diagnosed aspergers & now possible lupus?? Has doc checked you for celiac? Do you have stomach/digestive issues?

Reason I ask is disease called PCOS is #1 female thief of fertility & after much study discovered that disease along withfatigue, bone & muscle pain as well as periodic depression can all be traced to celiac (severe wheat allergy)

This intestinal ailment has been "the cause" of mis diagnosis for a very long list of auto-immune diagnosis. Might research if the shoe fits & locate a functional medicine doc for testing or assistance if outside US.

May go for an ultrasound. Depending on how long ago this was vagina may have just been sewn up or if later actual female organs removed. Overies even if dormant in a male body can cause all kinds of hormonal mayhem!

Yes, that's why I said, he should tell his doctor and see if tests can be run. Even that long ago there would be something left to show I would think.
