Well, let's see... was that the question? Wasn't part of the problem that we had agencies not talking to each other? Didn't the State Department get warnings 48 hours in advance that something might be going on in Libya? Didn't Stevens feel like his life was in jeopardy?
So, Obama gets a pass because Bush muffed it?
You don't quite understand how government works, you see.
Diplomats are generally given a pass so as not to start wars. However, they are soldiers as sure as anyone in desert camies.
Uh, we don't have any credible evidence that a 48 hour warning of an attack on the embassy with an intent to kill the ambassador was given, that seems to be a knee-jerk reaction until the facts are accessed.
Yeah, I really think the US President should go on public television and give out our security operations and blue prints around the globe to Geraldo Rivera et al.
One reason that some security systems like passwords work is that you don't publish them.
So, perhaps the armchair chickenhawk generals think tht flying in 10,000 troops for the day on wars and rumors of wars at every point would be the IMAGE (I note its all about the John Wayne talk with chickenhawks, and the image, the speech, and nothing doing with reality) that would satisfy them.
I uh, guess we are going to have to build up the military, lose some generals or get them some bayonets and put them on the perimeter, I think that should satisfy the martial itch in the chickenhawks.
