That is an urban legend. No one in recorded medicine has ever had a ruptured appendix from a punch. Maybe a high speed car collision. Houdini already had appendicitis when he was punched. He didn't go to the doctor, thinking he felt the punch and not something worse. In those days, with no penicillin, a ruptured appendix was usually fatal.

I can't really think of a safe spot in the lower abdomen to submit to blunt force. I've taken some caning to the stomach, but absolutely wouldn't be into punching someone.

Kidneys, spleen, your liver is just hanging out WAITING to get punched.... Yeah no. Leave your super heavy impact play to butts and thighs.

I have seen a couple eviserations though, so perhaps I am biased in my opinion that super squishy items should not be mashed upon.

Bahahaha oh Jesus, no I just re-read that.

I used to be a medic. Saw epic abdominal wounds. Would not recommend smashing abdomens, they don't appear to like it.
