Hi All

This isn't an advert. You can read that in my profile. I'm writing this introduction as I think it, so it might not be much of an introduction.

We have been searching for someone for some time. We have listed which station we live near because we want to be contacted by people who already know they can meet us if things go well. We don't understand why people list their location as London or the UK. We understand the need for privacy, but we believe withholding which borough or general area you live in makes your advert useless to the people reading it.

We do lots of things together, some of which are quite interesting. For instance, we like to play board games to pass the time. Lately we have been playing games like Guns of August (World War One, 1914 campaign), Talisman (Fantasy Adventure), and Elder Sign (Lovecraft/Call of Cthulhu dice and card game). This last game is because I have become very interested in reading H.P.Lovecraft's short stories for the first time. When I've finished those books, I can re-read Stephen Donaldson 's Thomas Covenant Chronicles for the first time in years.

We are a married couple looking to meet someone who is interested in being our slave. We don't know what sort of person they will actually be, but we are hoping that loyalty to us will be a strong motivation for them. I hope they will like the challenges I set for them and can volunteer some of their own. My wife and I hope that all three of us can fall very strongly in love together.

For my first date, I would like to meet someone somewhere nice for a cup of tea and a long chat. It might sound boring to some but I think I can only really know someone by talking to them in real-life. Emails and phone calls are only half the story. The full story can only be learned by two people staring each other in the face as they talk. I hope that we will soon meet someone very interesting, leading to smiles and laughter all round.

Thanks for your comments but we are optimists. We might make mistakes and look foolish to wiser people, but at least we stand a chance of eventual happiness.

A realist would never bother, knowing as they do how much the odds are stacked against them. They would undoubtedly be proved correct and very lonely.

We would always prefer to hunt unicorns than resign ourselves to giving up. Besides, its not a hunt, its a rescue mission. Someone out there wants to be found, we just haven't seen their signal flare yet.

Considering that mankind once walked on the only moon with a much smaller chance of success, then we should be able to find a single unicorn amongst 6 billion people.

Stranger things have happened.
