And such pitty that when an American President comes forward.and dedicates more resources to the issue than any other.
I applaud Lisa's putting it in format that reaches hearts and minds.

If the voting-empowered segments of the population support it, slavery is democracy.

"Emerging" is a rather relative term, anyway.

Same here. It's heart-breaking.

Ms. Kristine mentioned an NGO called Free the Slaves. They may be worth checking out.

National Geographic did an article on the subject a few years back. It includes some ideas on how to help.
