Ive only recently began to notice the signs of lung disease that all of us as smokers suffer.
I am a phlegm fatale.
And about to give up.
What id like to know, is............?
How does one submit to a loving dominant you wish to stab in the eye on day three?

But July 1st is quit day, could be july 4th is end of a beautiful relationship eeek?

~sigh~ I -love- to smoke. I love the taste, the smell, and how it feels.

Unfortunatly, the Owner doesn't. :( So I keep a pack around and am allowed to indulge every so often, if I've been good.

Ah the sacrifices we make :)

Actually I can think of worse things than being hugged by a smoker, saying there's nothing worse is a little draumatic, since there are things worse.

Now myself I won't hang o ut with smokers much less date one, so kissing one is out of question too, because yes it is nasty to kiss smokers lol.

Have y'all seen the commercial - or I guess public service announcement - on TV lately with the woman who couldn't give up her cigarettes and now has a contraption in her throat so she can breathe?  She can't speak except in a crackly whisper.

Look at a smoker, then look at a nonsmoker.  Or find an ex smoker who has just quit.  The change in their SKIN, the smell of their hair, their general appearance - is dramatic.  Besides, for us nonsmokers (AND I'M ALSO AN EX SMOKER) we can stand to be around them!  Nothing worse than being kissed or even just hugged by someone who reeks of stale cigarettes.  YUK.

And yes, you all smell like that, you just don't know it becuse you're used to the smell.  I was the same way.  I was AMAZED when I realized how bad I used to smell.

As for controlling someone's smoking or forcing them to smoke more, that's just plain stupid.  Besides healthwise, a person addicted to nicotine really IS a bear if they're not allowed to smoke.  The nicotine IS a drug that they need a fix of periodically or they start getting the jitters or even getting mean.  Yes, I've been there, so I know whereof I speak.

Find another fetish.  Or encourage your loved one to quit.  They'll live a lot longer and be happier for it.  I know.

Smoked 2-3 ppd for 35 years.  Quit in 1995.  When I was ready, it was easy.

Yeah, and that's a figure of speech.  If I commented on all the things of that sort that get on my nerves on these posts, I'd never get anything else done.  Besides, it has nothing to do with the topic.

When I am with friends, I like to hug them.  We're just a big huggin' group here in the south.  Hugging people I'm fond of and even kissing them on the cheek, or being kissed in such a way, IS pretty bad.  Seein's how the smell of the stale ciggies mixed with perfume or aftershave stays ON me wherever they touch me until I bathe again, that's pretty bad.  Yeah, someone who's drunk is worse.  But stinky cigarette breath is BAD.

the only restriction on my smoking I allow is when I'm a work. I know there are times when taking a smoke break is simply impossible. But the longer that time lasts, the crankier I become, as do my co-workers, also smokers. Nothing like a busy Sunday morning and four hours without a cigarette. At that time you don't want to be a customer. LOL

's OK - if you tried to deprive, I'm afraid we smoking subs (at least those of us who have no burning desire to be whined and hassled into quitting, or have that aspect of our lives controled) would have to rip you bodily limb from limb after suddenly discovering the intense joys of CBT as a passtime.

I think perhaps Stu's fetish may only start becoming problematic if the sub decided it was time to quit, and he kept pressuring them to continue. Or if he were to take a non-smoker and convert him/her for his own fetish. To me.. that.. well I personally would get up and walk out. I smoked for what may have been the stupidest reason in the world (appetite suppressant) and was miserable the whole time. I couldnt even be around a couple of my best friends, as they were allergic to smoke. Yes I know cancer doesnt happen to everyone and no I didnt get lung cancer from smoking, but I will put this out as a personal testimony: Chemotherapy sucks worse than anything on the planet. I lost my best friend in the world to suicide when I was 15, and I can sadly and honestly say: I would go through the pain of losing him again, as preferred to chemo. Something to think about Stu. Those of you smokers I know you've heard everything, and I know you feel the effects of your smokes, so no point preaching. However non-smokers with a "watching people smoke fetish..." If you start a sub smoking because he/she thinks it might be interesting and wants to please you, think about what you may be doing to your sub in the long run.

Hehe, it sounds like it could be great fun for you...until you wake up missing your sub, all the ciggarettes, and your balls. That was the last hard limit i had to refuse Master. Then again, i have deeper mental issues that i use ciggarettes to help control, so perhaps i feel more strongly about them than others do?
In any case, i'd say before you even try it, you should sit her down and ask her how she'd feel about it. Or maybe just tell her you'll be starting and gauge her reaction. Maybe it sounds odd, but it's better than finding out a week later that she hates you and wants to leave, because for some, this would be a limit akin to shaving the head, as in WAY TOO FAR.

Sorry, but I have a moral objection. Even if it is consensual, I feel a responsibility to do no permanent harm. I don’t feel like a Master should participate in causing his slave serious health problems such as cancer and emphysema.

Nah, everybody who smokes has some "deeper mental issue" that smoking is supposed to take care of, I know I did.  Why else would we do something that we know makes us stink, look bad, cough all the time, wheeze when we lie down to sleep, takes money that could be better spent on something else, harms other people when they have to breathe our smoke, and will ultimately kill us?

<shrug>  I'm sure you're special, but that's not it!  <wink>

stu - here's a concept that's probably foreign to you, but which *IMO* you need to learn -

The point of BDSM, and consensual servitude, ds or ms dynamics.... hell, Relationships... is NOT to beat the spirit out of someone.  "Beating it out of them" does little, in the long run, other than lead the person on the recieving end into resenting your existance.  Which, in turns, leads to them eliminating you from THEIR existance.

Carol - we're all going to die eventually.  Life is the one game that none of us are going to make it out of alive, regardless of how well we live or how healthy our habits.  Coughing and Wheezing aren't guarenteed results of smoking, though they are PROBABLE results in the long term.  Spending lots of time laying out in the sun to get a tan will go just as far to cause skin problems as being a smoker, and is quite often an overlooked (or patently ignored) contributing factor to the lines and wrinkles associated with a smoker's dry skin.   My point, especially with the FIRST comment (we're all gonna die at some point anyway)... is to question why I should deprive myself of something that I Enjoy, just for the sake of "living longer."  I always think of the quote (attributed popularly to Samual Clemmons, aka Mark Twain) - "My doctor told me I could live an extra 20  years if I gave up cigars, whiskey, and sexual relations.  I told him 'Doctor, if I give all that up, the extra 20 years won't be Worth living!"
