This tickled my twisted sense of humor:

Dear Lord,

This has been a tough two or three years. You have taken my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze. My favorite musician, Michael Jackson. My favorite actress, Elizabeth Taylor. And now my favorite singer, Whitney Houston.

I just want you to know that my favorite politician is Mitt Romney.

Amen.

Reminded me a bit of times I've tried to pray for my old boss and caught myself saying, "Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, ..."

Dont judge me because I sin differently than you.
If you want it sugar coated, dont ask me what i think! It would violate TOS.

The unanswered prayer of the century:
Please guide us to elect world leaders who have a clue how to run their respective countries in peace. Amen

You might want to check out this thread http://www.collarchat.com/m_4256343/mpage_1/tm.htm where we are trying to discuss why, at least in the US, this seems to be difficult.

ITHE REASON I really came back here was to.THANK DC..... Buddy... You have no idea how your prayer improved my day. I mean, without looking at the author, I follow a link to a thread about an "election prayer" kinda thinking the worst.
Thanks DC .... You made me the king of my texting circuit today!

Thanks, Skipper! A friend posted it on Facebook, so I can't claim credit for it.
